SADCAT's Haunted Palace
"Nightmare at the Indian Burial Ground Amusement Park and Year-round Funporium" (ROUND 3)

Opponent -- Stan (:iconamandakittie:)

[ "Justified Motorphobia" page 14]
Previous < ----- > Next

While Stan is carried off, Alex gets some assistance and fights back before he can be too injured.
The eyes I hope indicate that it is Alex who has turned into the giant raven in the last panel.

Alex, as all of his species, can turn into a monster-size of his dominant animal.. it is symbolic of them being something of a guardian/deity/leader of their kind.
And very useful for fighting something otherwise bigger than you.

Stan -- ~amandakittie
Alex -- myself (genji-rose)

Awwww... the look on Stan's face in panel one is priceless. And I totally got the blue eye connection. I think it's a nice way to keep the reader aware of Alex's abilities, instead of making us go... "Wha... where'd he go? Where'd that bird come from? What's going on?!?" We instantly go "Hey! Alex is in awesome giant-raven form and he's kickin' some ayasss!" XD

(Sorry for taking forever to get back to these comments - I appreciate comments enough to reply to them even if it does
take me.... .... ...weeks. *epic fail*)

ehe. 'Not good' was what I kinda missed. ^^; Though beats being dropped in... a bad way. XD
Well it was a key concern when drawing a bunch of identical black birds together.. Alex blends in just as well 'cept for those pretty peepers. (Bad for him sometimes, good for me.)

Heh, same here exactly. I love comments and I love responding to them, I just can't get the energy worked up to do so sometimes. :)

It's all good! XD
