After school as the students burst through the door, Bubbles and Buttercup came out with no Blossom around. "She should have just kept her mouth shut." Said Buttercup. "Oooh I feel bad now for laughing at her." Said Bubbles. The Ed's are sitting on the steps and saw the girls. "Hey!" They said. "GUYS?!" Shouted Buttercup and Bubbles as they ran to them. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home resting?" Said Bubbles. "Were feeling much better don't worry about it." Said Eddy. "More importantly we have something we need to tell you..." Said Double D. "Hey wheres Blossom?" Asked Ed. "Uh..she's in detention.." Said Buttercup. Eddy got up and said "What? Oh man!" He ran inside to see her. "Uh girls.." Said Double D as he and Ed got up. "Yes?" They replied. A breeze went passed the group as the Ed's seemed pretty tense about what they were going to ask.
In the building we see Eddy running to the office. "What did she do to go in there of all places?!" He said to himself. Blossom just got out of the office looking sad, she sighed heavily and sat beside the door with her books on her lap. She then heard someone calling her name, "Blossom!" "Huh?" She said looking around. Eddy came to a halt, "Oh Eddy! Shouldn't you be at home resting?" She asked. 5 minutes later, we see the 2 sitting beside each other. Blossom explained what happened as well as last night about what the girls discussed. "Ah..yea we were just thinking about the fight." He said. "This is the hardest decision I've ever made in my life and I don't know what to do!" Blossom cried. Eddy looked at the floor a bit thinking, he really really doesn't want to break up but is puzzled as well at what to do till he got a flicker of hope inside of him. "Blossom...I'm not going to let anything happen to you, the girls or Double D and Ed!" He said getting up tightning his fists. "Eddy, what are you going to do?" She asked. Eddy thought back to the moments of his brother, the long nights of staying up hearing him fight with his parents and always abandoning him when Eddy needed him till he thought of a memory way back that he had forgotten, a moment of rare sympathy. Eddy and his brother are sitting out in front of the house, the sun was setting. "Little bro, your always causing trouble haha!" Eddy's brothers voice echoed. A small Eddy can be seen in the quick flash back "I want to grow up to be just like you and dad!!" Said the little Eddy. "Haha nah I don't think you want to be like us.." Replied the big brother. "Why?!" Replied Eddy. "What we do changes us into something were not little bro I lost someone because of what I became." "Big brother! Why are you always fighting with dad?" Cutely asked the little Eddy. "...someday when your older you'll understand, just remember Eddy, when you find friends or a girlfriend for that matter who love you..cherish them with your life because you will regret it later if you don't and whatever happens I'll always love you even when I don't show it at times." The little Eddy is confused, "Your different Eddy...way different then me or dad.." His brother started shedding a tear. Eddy wondered what was wrong, The brother got up and wiped his tears then said "I'm going away to someplace far... You best behave yourself and remember what I told you." Said the older brother as he left with a bag around his shoulder. "Brother! Where are you going?...BROTHER DON'T LEAVE ME!!" Eddy shouted.  "Whatever you do Eddy, don't try looking for me...because if you do...you will find me different..I wish our family was normal..I regret everything that I've done in this life even being born..." Eddy's bro continued into the distance leaving Peach Creek as well as Eddy behind. Back to the present Eddy felt a sudden surge of determination. "We survived tougher stuff then this! If those guys ever show up again we'll beat them, I don't know how but I swear on my brothers death ben we won't lose next time!" Blossom wiped the tears from her eyes and just smiled "Your really brave..." Eddy kneeled beside her and took her hands and said "Blossom, please just give me a chance to prove myself to you." "You already have Eddy.." She said. "Then let me prove to you more, we can get throught this I swear!" He replied looking very serious. "Oh Eddy!" Blossom said hugging him as she cried. "I won't leave you..I'm not going to leave you and the girls in the dark like that.." He whispered. "You can't..you just can't face them..I cried so much thinking I lost you." She said. "Your not going to lose me ever again...I promise I'll fight every scum on earth to protect you." Blossom continued to cry on Eddy's shoulder, he rubbed his hand through her red hair. "I'm grateful to you and my friends, I've changed so much from a petty con artist..." "Eddy..would you like to come with me to the dance?" Blossom asked. They then looked at one another and Eddy replied "Of course." Blossom could only smile as they touched each others faces and shared a kiss.

From a far, the Ed's and the girls saw what happened. Double D trying to be cool brought his sock like hat over his eyes and said "Well done Eddy..I knew you could do it." "Blossom looks soo happy." Said Bubbles. Ed chuckled as he put his hands over his head as Buttercup leaned on the wall smiling "Those 2 love birds..." Whispered Buttercup. With a firm and steady resolve, Eddy remembered his brothers advice and decided to fight whatever obstacle that might come across, not even strong opponents like the Rowdy Ruff Boys will stand in his or the Ed's way.
