The next day without sleep, the girls had to go to school. The Ed's though are excused since they were injured and Pokey Oaks was notified by the hospital for them to be excused, they are shown to be in much better shape as they hanged at Eddy's house. The boys are sitting on the porch sucking on jawbreakers and drinking water, trying to enjoy the morning. "I still wish I could go to school, I'm missing so much academic learning, this really blemishes my personal resume." Said Double D. "Were lucky to be alive and your still thinking about school?" Eddy said annoyingly. "Ahh..I miss Buttercup.." Said Ed as he sat back on his seat. Eddy sighed heavily and said "You know...I've never had anyone cry for me before like that. Except for you guys.." "I wonder what was that vision about we had in our sleep. It gives me goose bumps everytime I think about it." Said Double D. "Its a hallucination Edd, I'm not thinking about it too much and I'm not even worried about it." "Yea your probably right.." Replied Edward. Double D took out his personal laptop from his book bag beside him and checked something, we see his background screen is the cartoon network logo. "What you doing Double D?" Asked Eddy. "Checking to see if I got any emails from the school about upcoming events as well as our missing assignments." He then saw something that catched his eye, he read a certain notification as his eyes got bigger, Double D accidentally swallowed his jaw breaker from shock and started to choke. "DOUBLE D!!" Shouted the Ed's. "ED!! QUICK CPR NOW!!" Shouted Eddy as he and Ed jumped from their seat jumping around Double D scared as he choked. "I DON'T KNOW HOW EDDY!!" Cried Ed. "DOUBLE D YOU GOTTA FIGHT THIS MAN!!" Yelled Eddy as he slapped Double D accross his back making him cough up the jaw breaker. "Ed!! I THINK ITS WORKING!!" Shouted Eddy as both then started slapping him hard across his back and Double D comically tried telling them he's fine. He grabbed their hands and roared "STOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!" The guys backed off alittle and were scared. "YOU IDIOTS WOULDN'T PASS HEALTH CLASS IF YOUR LIVES DEPENDED ON IT!!! NEVER AGAIN!!" Edward shouted as he coughed. "You...cough cough...gotta see this.." Weakly said Double D as he showed them his computer. "SCHOOL DANCE?!" Yelled the Ed's. "Yes..next weekend, Fall school dance..and remember our disaster from Peach Creek? Its customery for a boy to ask a girl to attend and you know what that means..." Said Double D. "This alittle too soon!! Peach Creak never had a dance this early in the year!!" Shouted Eddy. Ed looked at the comp and said "The computer tells no lies Eddy." "Wait a minute, back up a sec. Were in a relationship right now...what are we worrying about?!" Asked Eddy. "Anything could happen Eddy, remember our fight with the Rowdy Ruff boys?" Said Double D as the Ed's pondered back thinking. "If they do we'll just pulverize them with the girls!" Said Eddy. "We can't always ask the girls for help and it may even stress them more, after all they have a duty to protect the town." Replied Double D. The Ed's are baffled and are trying to figure out how to defend themselves if any strong opponent might come a long. "And sadly we don't have any information regarding the villains in townsville, their strength , their weakness, I don't really have anything to go on that might aid us." Said Double D. "Look, lets save this for a rainy day. We have a dance we need to prepare for, after were done THEN we'll think of something!" Said Eddy. The Ed's are a bit silent, "...Fine..until then I'll think about it some more." Said Double D. "Edd is always one step ahead!" Said Ed assuring the group a bit. All 3 chuckled alittle at Ed's joke needing a bit of laughter from all the drama that has happened.

At school, the girls are in free study period. Its a time to catch up on homework or relaxing if you have none, Buttercup is making paper planes, Bubbles is reading another teen magazine as Blossom is studying and writing in her math book. The 3 along with the students stopped what their doing when the principal spoke to them through the speaker. "Attention all students, this is a reminder if you have not gotten your notification that a school dance is to be held next weekend." Everyone either sighed or cheered at the news, the girls are a bit surprised. "Wow, alittle early in the year for a dance don't you think?" Said Blossom. "I repeat, the school fall dance is taking place here in the gym. All students are to submit to alcohol test at the entrance, no funny business and be on your best behavior. Most of all have fun!" Finished the principals speech. "I think this is great, I want to forget about everything that happened with this dance with Edd!" Smiled Bubbles blushing. "Not so bad but I'm NOT wearing a dress." Commented Buttercup. "Wow wow girls! Did you forget about our talk yesterday?! Ah my eyes are killing me from not sleeping!" Said Blossom as she rubbed her eyes. "Shhh" One of the students said. "Urrrgggghhhhh." Grumbled Blossom. "You know Blossom you've been pretty crabby lately...did you not sleep?" Cutely questioned Bubbles. "I BEEN UP ALL NIGHT THINKING OF SOMETHING TO PROTECT THE ED'S WHILE YOU 2 SLEPT THE WHOLE DAY IN CLASSES, DILLY DALLYING AND I HAD TO BUST MY HUMP GETTING YOU OUT OF TROUBLE!!!!" Blossom shouted. By the time she finished, the whole class looked at Blossom and the teacher while reading a book came by and slapped a small paper note on her desk. Blossom looked and yelled "NOOO!!!!!" The whole class then yelled "SHUT UP!!" Blossom began to cry a bit, "Whats wrong?" Asked the girls. "I...I got detention.." She said falling down with the chair. Bubbles and Buttercup looked at each other for a sec then laughed. "Not funny." Said Blossom packing her books and heading to the detention room. The girls continued to laugh as she walked out and the students again shouted "SHUT UP!!!"
