The (unofficially named) Chelicerate, a powerful alien predator. Concept art for Subnautica - Below Zero
I love your alien designs. How you experiment on their body proportions and anatomy!
I love the crab-claw mouth! Your aliens are the best.
Epic as always. I love alien designs that that inspiration from our own terrestrial small creatures and make them enormous, and vice-versa. This orca-sized shrimp monster is incredible, I especially love the bright salmon colors for his carapace, the lighting and shaping on the shells itself, and of course the tooth-like ridge detail on the mouth-parts. Gosh, I'd love to work with you someday!
mmm looks tasty
These concepts are making me so excited for the next expansion! Love the exoskeletal look and jaws on this guy!
When the Brachiopodae enter the Chordatae waters.
Fearsome despite also being tasteful-looking.
A bit of solifugid in there?
Oooooh, I really dig this one. I think it's the color and the way it makes the carapace pop.
*frantically equips stasis rifle and heatknife*
can't wait to frantically swim away from it.
It's a lobstacuda!!!
Giant Shrimp Beast. Huh, well can't wait to face it when I get the DLC.
Killer shrimp! \o/
From the scale shown here it seems a human would be like a snack to this predator.
A big boy! I love him!
a powerful, strong boi
There's no way that shrimp will fit in the average freezer
I love how the mandibles can pinch with the tips and chew in the back.
i gonna need lots of butter if it taste like a lobster
Huh...looks like something from the Birrin world...
Sorry...I would not swim along that; looks like it would eat me as a snack....
