Fantastic gallery! The details, the shading, the composition, the handling of large groups of people, the posing, the lighting, the colours, the designs...! How on earth is it possible that I didn't stumble across any of your work (of such high quality!) before on so may arduous art hunts? This is fantasy depicted at its finest. A world that draws you in.
Masterful. This is nothing short of a treasure trove.
This deserves way wider recognition. May fame and glory be yours in correspondence to your skills!
I hardly dare ask, but fool's hope here it goes nevertheless: Would you by any chance be interested in drawing your vision of one or more Ethiopian fantasy Dwarves for the Ninth Age (T9A)?
T9A is a non-profit community-driven spiritual successor of the historically based classic fantasy smörgåsbord setting of Warhammer. While much a mirror world of the former, the Ninth Age will delve deeper into historical themes in its fantasy, including a Dwarven branch based upon Ethiopia with its mountainous highlands, famous stonework architecture and distinct religious traditions surviving in isolation for many centuries (all parallells to fantasy Dwarves).
I've doodled some quick drawings, and Sergio Artigas has thrown his interpretation into the ring ( ). I'm asking you, given your proclivity for all things fantasy, reworking of historical designs and general brilliance at original design.
At any rate, you're doing beautiful work illustrating worlds of the imagination! Long may it continue.
There are of course lots of Mannish and renaissance concepts in T9A given its Warhammer roots, in case those would be of more interest. Including an equivalent of Constantinople (Avras) recently reclaimed by western knights and other human forces, yet with insidious (Byzantine) ratmen still lurking in the catacombs and sewers. The setting is still in its buildup phase, so there is quite some room for artists to make their mark and influence future depictions with their own designs and interpretations.
