SOUNDZINE, American review n°100
(See in context here : http://soundzine.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=112:anne-bail-decaen&catid=36:art-and-photography&Itemid=56)
Anne Bail-Decaen was born in France and studied psychology, anthropology, business and French literature.
She worked one year in New Orleans, as a teaching assistant of French as a foreign language. Anne travels a lot and these journeys widely inspire her artwork. She is now teaching pedagogy to African teachers and lives on La Reunion Island (close to Madagascar).
She learned to draw and paint, as a "wild child" would - without any art
Here are two talented artists I've discovered a few weeks ago :

Hey DA friends!
I'm back from a journey in Burkina Faso with a special picture (see the new featured one). It was a quick shot taken from a window and I still don't understand how the hell my camera could create such a great "dreamy" effect (I wish a was responsible of this strange composition, but I'm not :O, the result was just a complete and beautiful surprise). I wonder wether you'll feel the same emotion as I do when I look at this man, I'm curious about it...
