The Hebitian-Cardassian Extinction Event by Abayomi The Hebitian-Cardassian Extinction Event by Abayomi
A scientific article written by a scientist studying the effects of climate change on the ancient Hebitian society on Cardassia, and how it brought about the end of that civilization. Most of this is not taken from any canon or licensed sources, and most of the artifacts, places, and events referenced in the article are not mentioned anywhere in any official Trek works. This is just my own idea of what happened on Cardassia to bring about the end of Hebitia and lead to the establishment of the Union. I'm working on a follow-up article that goes more into the cultural eradication initiatives of the First New Kingdom and the switch from theocracy to secular military rule. Fingers crossed I can actually get all my ideas written out before my inspiration fizzles!

This is a very interesting take on the event! I like it. I have personal ideas of what caused the ultimate demise of Hebitians and rise of Cardassians, on top of climatic change, but this is really very nice.

You're very welcome ^^

And your books would be one of the few exceptions I'd buy instead of downloading XD
