thank you very much. too bad the sand was so soft and not all the hdr frames didnt line up. the rock edge is all blurred out.

still, it looks like a beautiful place. out of all the amazing places in america, Oregon is one of the places i want to visit the most.

the oregon coast is really stunning. the other place i really love in the us is the canyons near page arizona. i have a number of shots from these canyons on my site.

Andy it is in the States in Oregon state at the coast. If is a very impressive feature when you are standing near it. It is huge.

ya the sand that my tripod was in was very soft so the tripod was sinking and that resulted in the multi exposure for the hdr not lining up correctly. it is too bad because i love the image. thank you.

You could've attached something to the bottom of the legs to make it steadier though :hmm:

there was a weight holding the tripod down but the problem was it was on wet sand so the whole thing was sinking.

I mean like something on the base of the legs to distribute the weight over a larger area.
