Magic: the Gathering Origins 2015

The focus of this piece was the short sword. It was my first time working in the Shendria realm. And I was fresh from a workshop where we focused on painting armor and shiny things. I couldn't wait to get started on this painting.
The lower arm looks rather short though.
A female fighter with armor that actually covers the soft, squishy spots? WOW!
And it looks amazing!!
I like the use of different armor materials here with plate, chain and leather. It looks damn realistic and actually makes you think the woman in it might survive a fight and not die from instant gut stab The lighting does another point in selling it as great work.
