Kit Carter vs. The Molten Menace Final by aaronlopresti Kit Carter vs. The Molten Menace Final by aaronlopresti
This is my second Kit Carter piece (and probably last for awhile) that I was able to find time to take to finish. This is approximately 11X17 and done with Brush and Ink on heavy watercolor paper.

Great work.
Have you ever seen this blog? It has a ton of great classic illustration. I'm in no way affiliated with it. Just thought you might like it.

Ooh, another really nice one here. Love the composition, with the monster coming up behind. The coolest part is that with that helmet on and if she's not in an atmosphere, there'd be no noise to warn her, playing up the surprise! (Then again, I suspect that much ground moving, she'll feel something!)

A cool outfit she's got to boot. :)

The planet is covered with volcanic activity so the ground is always shaking:)

The brush is just so flexible (no pun intended), you can get such a variety of line. I grew up using a brush because when I bought "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" (when it first came out...ugh) that's what Stan said comic book inkers were using!

LOL awesome, i am using a brush but it is good some days and bad others so sticking to it is a challenge. Especially when I have a crap-ton of nibs I am enjoy.
