Failed Knowledge Check by A3ulez Failed Knowledge Check by A3ulez
Update: Was finally able to scan in a better version.

I've been playing a lot of Carrion Crown and finally decided to finish this picture from when we started the campaign in October/November last year. After failing a knowledge check, Indigo (right), determined that the entities flying around the party were angels just before being crit and skewered by a ray of light. Fallen angels, Indi. Fallen.

Water color and a little acrylic.

Oh snap! That's a tragic roll! xD (Reminds me of the time a member of my D&D party rolled REALLY BADLY and got himself beheaded with a blunt stick.) I'm not familiar with Carrion Crown, though! I'll have to look it up now. BTW, I love the level of detail in this - the hair especially - and the muddled greens and purples of the background. They give the painting a fantastically weird RPG feel.

Thanks :) Carrion Crown is a Pathfinder campaign full of tons of Gothic horror fun. We died many, many times. And my wife got kidnapped. And turned into a tree.

Haha! Funnily enough, in the time since I made my initial comment, some friends and I have started gaming again, and our DM chose to run...Carrion Crown! xD We're only a few hours in at this point, but it's fun thus far. But then, I'm playing a Goblin Monkey Bloodrager, so it'd be hard NOT to have fun with that, in any situation. (It's made even better by the fact that I ended up being the party tank, despite being 3 feet tall.)
