For the purpose of printing- not that anyone will buy it, this is just some random Elf BD.

This is a quick painting I did of King Finwe of the Noldorin Elves waking up in Cuivienen as one of the first Elves in the Tolkien mythos. The Tengwar signs say "Behold a star shines on the hour of our meeting. May the sun ever shine upon your path." I was testing out colored layers and textures and like how they turned out.

That's good, but "nai" isn't written like that; and are you sure that tielainna means "over your path"? Shouldn't it be tielyanna?
here, check this out The last line starts with the word "nai". As for tielya-, the word next to "nai" (the last line again) says "elye"-you just replace 'e' with 'a' and you'll get "lya"

Heh, truth be told, I can't remember. I haven't studied my Elvish in over five years. Don't use it, you lose it!

Thanks for the correction, though =) I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

It would really be a shame to lose it, though; it's the most beautiful language I've ever studied.
So how long have you been studying it?

I learned it online at ardalambion.com and studied it for three or four years. But it's hard to keep up with a lot of languages at once, so right now I'm concentrating on my Russian. But Quenya did help me a lot with the foundations of linguistics. And yes, it is so pretty!

yes, there's much linguistic wisdom in it. I've been studying it for two weeks now and I guess most of those who know quenya have studied it from this site (me too)

No problem, I liked your work ^.^ Lots of Snape stuff, hehe. I actually downloaded a Tengwar font which had a guide of how to use the letters. It made it super easy ;) [link] Found the site! That has the fonts and guides if you're still interested in learning!! keep up the good work ^^
