Lacey and Sastrid Escape Room Size Games Chapter 4

The cat food that the tiny woman had thrown went flying through the air, right towards the open mouth of the seemingly gigantic cat. It was as if Lacey had used pinpoint accuracy in order to get in inside. Better still, the cat immediately swallowed the pellet of cat food without even chewing.

Before the cat could even realise what had happened, it began to feel its body begin to quiver. This was something that hadn't gone unnoticed by Lacey as she waited to see what happened. Her greatest fear was that it was going to grow even larger. But at least then she knew that the cat food would be what she needed to enlarge herself.

It wasn't obvious at first but she definitely could see a change taking place to the cat. Much to her relief, the feline that just a few moments ago had been trying to eat wasn't growing any bigger. Instead, it was thankfully beginning to shrink smaller.

The process was definitely slow to begin with, but it was speeding up with every passing moment. The monstrous size of the cat was quickly slipping away, although from its point of view, the world around it was growing. The only thing that was growing was the confidence of Lacey as she began to step towards it.

As she did, the cat continued to shrink smaller and smaller as it became half of its original size, then a third and then down to a quarter. Eventually, it even went down to being eye level to Lacey but still continued to shrink. It wasn't long until compared to the tiny woman, and then was the size of a very large dog.

Lacey was annoyed at the cat and was glad to see that it was shrinking. However, a part of her couldn't help but feel some sympathy towards it. For as long as she could remember, she had a fondness for cats and knew what it was like to shrink uncontrollably. Also it was likely that the cat was just another victim in Sastrid's idea of having fun.

"I'm sorry that this had to happen," said Lacey as she lent down so that she could pick up the feline which in comparison to her was around the size of an average cat. "It doesn't mean that we can't still be friends." By then she had stood back up to her full height and carried the cat in her arms. But there was one thing that she did notice while she did this though, the cat in her arms was becoming lighter and lighter. "Hey you're small enough now, you can stop shrinking now."

Lacey had said this as if the cat had any choice in the matter. She was completely helpless but to watch as the cat was continuing to shrink with every passing second. At one point it almost slipped out of her arms and she had to catch it before it struck the ground. As she had gotten it into her hands, she originally needed both hands in order to properly and then she only needed one.

There was a genuine fear within her that the cat was going to shrink out of existence. Already it was the size of a guinea pig and then the size of a hamster. But it seemed that the shrinking had finally come to a stop but Lacey found herself holding onto the world's smallest cat. The tiny feline looked back up at her with an expression of confusion. Around a minute ago, she had been as small as a mouse to it, now she was a towering giantess who could easily hold it with just a single hand.

"Wow," said Lacey as she looked at the cat. She did feel some horror over what had just happened. But she couldn't help but look at the shrunken feline and couldn't help but be distracted by something else. "Oh my God, you're so cute."

The tiny woman couldn't help but begin to stroke the tiny cat who still seemed to be too dumbfounded to do anything. It simply let the giant finger come down and stroke it. Lacey smiled as she could feel the fur underneath her fingertip and the entire situation still seemed quite insane.

Eventually, the seriousness of the situation began to re-enter the mind of Lacey as she properly stepped out of the cupboard. She could easily see how large everything truly was in comparison to herself. It also took her a moment to realise that for the cat in her hand, the world around them seemed even larger.

Now that she was at least not in danger from the cat, she could now focus a little more on trying to find her way out of the room. As she looked around, there was something that she could see that was an obvious answer to one of her problems. On the one side of the kitchen, she could see what to her was an enormous door. It was the most likely exit for her to progress to the next room.

However, Lacey still had a couple of problems staring her right in the face. She was far too small to reach the door and even if she could, it was likely that it would be locked. Meaning that she would have to find the key as well. For now, she thought it was best to concentrate on one problem at a time.

"Hmm, the best thing I should do for now is try and make myself bigger," said Lacey as she was thinking out loud. She did begin to feel her hand beginning to ache since having it stretched out for a long period of time did cause such an issue. "Hey little kitty cat, do you mind if I put you in my pocket?"

There was one meow from the cat before she raised it up a little and placed it in her pocket that was located on the chest part of her apron. There weren't any that were lower but she still at least could keep her eye on the tiny feline without it being able to get itself hurt. It's head did pop up out of the pocket so that it could at least see what was happening. This did allow her to stroke its head and she smiled down at it.

"I promise that I'll get you out of here and back to a more reasonable size before long," said Lacey as she continued to look down at the cat. "Since we're going to be spending some time together, maybe I should probably give you a name." This made her fall silent for several moments as she tried to think up of a name. For some reason, the first name that came to mind was the same as a cat in a TV show that she used to watch when she was younger. For this reason, the name simply stuck in her mind. "How about I call you Salem? How does that sound." The cat didn't really respond and just gave out a simple meow. This was all the indication that she needed. "Then Salem it is."

Lacey did smile as she liked the name that she had given the cat but now she had to think of a way in order to enlarge herself. She felt that this was the more important of her tasks that she had to complete. There was at least some relief that she didn't eat any of the cat food, she thought that if she did, then she would be even smaller than an ant.

With a slow pace, Lacey did begin to walk forward as she tried to spot anything that she thought could be edible. She did consider asking Sastrid but decided against it. There was a good chance that the demoness would lead her to something that would cause her to shrink smaller or make her grow so large that she compleyely filled the room.

It caused er some annoyance simply knowing that Sastrid was most likely watching somewhere and enjoying every moment of it. The only reason why Lacey herself was going through all of this was simply because she wanted to get out of there and back to her life. Even if it did mean going through a whole heap of insanity.

For the next half an hour, Lacey was simply looking around and trying to find anything that she thought would be useful. For the time being, she couldn't see a thing that could help her in any way. All the other things were too high up for her to reach. This was something that she could only try her best with.

Suddenly there was something that she did come across which did peek her interest for the moment. There was a hole in the wall that would have been hard to see if she had been normal size. It seemed odd to have the hole like this, especially since it looked to be like a mousehole that she had seen in old cartoons.

This did make Lacey very curious as she went down to her hands and knees and began to look inside. She expected to nothing but darkness, but it seemed as though there was some kind of light behind it. This only made her even more curious as her eyes tried to focus on whatever was inside.

From what she could see, there was nothing too much that was worth noticing. That was besides something that was reflecting the light. There she could see what looked like a key not too dissimilar to the one that she had found in the previous room. This only made her think of one thing.

"Hey, there's the key!" said Lacey with some glee in her voice. "Now all I need is to grab it and then that's one problem solved." With that, she went to reach her hand through the hole and simply take the key that she needed so badly. But this was when she realised that this task was much easier said than done.

The fact of the matter was that her hand was too big to get through the hole. The hole couldn't even force the hole to be any larger and no matter how much she twisted her hand, it simply wouldn't go through. This was something that she found annoying and ironic. Despite being tiny herself, she was too big for the task in front of her.

"Damn it!" stated Lacey with an annoyed tone. There was a thought in her mind to try and eat some of the cat food to make herself even smaller. But there were plenty of risks with this. There was the danger of becoming too small and not being able to find her way to getting bigger once more.

But another thought did cross the mind of the tiny woman. Her hand might not have been large enough to get inside of the hole, but she did have something that was small enough. This made her look down at the tiny cat that was in her pocket and as far as she was concerned, she had found the perfect solution to her little problem.
