The next thing that Lacey knew, she couldn't help but be amazed by what she was seeing. Before, she had been in a shack like room which had actually looked a little fancier than she had expected. Now after stepping through the door and the portal like distortion she found herself in a place that was completely different.
Like before, she was in a room and but rather than it being a shack like area, instead it looked as though she was in a kitchen. As she looked, it was like a modern kitchen that she would have loved to have had herself. It had a wooden feeling to it as the cupboards and doors were brown in colour with some brown tiles on the wall. The rest of the walls were painted with a very light brown colour. Cooking pans were hanging near the oven and the ground beneath her feet was grey.
Normally such a thing wouldn't be so surprising for Lacey as she had stepped into a kitchen on practically a daily basis. No, it was the sheer size of the kitchen that were within that was the most shocking for her. It looked as though only a true giant could live in a place like this since even the chairs were taller than a building. The fridge that was close by too looked almost like a skyscraper reaching up as far as possible.
"Wow, everything's so big in here," said Lacey as she continued to look around. Thanks to the unexpected scale between her and her surroundings. "I can't help but feel as though I'm as small as a mouse."
"You're not wrong there," replied the voice of Sastrid. The demoness was still nowhere in sight, but her fingerprints were definitely all over these bizarre events. "My little Lacey, welcome to what the world looks like if you're a mouse. I've heard it can be fun in short bursts but dangerous long term."
"Wait did you shrink me?" Although she was annoyed, she still listened and just hoped that the insanity would subside before long.
"Not exactly, it just so happens that the room that you entered is significantly larger than the one that you were in before."
"Why am I not surprised?" She folded her arms and grunted before she realised the first part of Sastrid's answer. "Wait, what did you mean by not exactly?"
"I'm surprised that you haven't noticed."
"Noticed what?" When she said this, she began to look at herself and she took a moment to take in what she was seeing. Before she had stepped through the door, her proportions had been far from normal. Not only had she become her usual tall self, but also had been very muscular.
Since stepping through the door, Lacey's body had reverted to the same proportions that it had been in the previous room. Rather than being the statuesque woman that she was used to, her proportions once more looked completely average. This included the muscles that she had gained after eating the protein bar. They had completely disappeared and she wasn't sure whether to be glad about this, or worried.
"Aren't I such a good person by putting your body right," said Sastrid with a joyful tone in her voice.
"If you were really a good person, you wouldn't have put me in this situation in the first place," replied Lacey.
"But it would be far less fun for you. Now the rules are the same as the previous room. All you need to do is to find the key and the door so you can progress further. But you might want to find something to make yourself bigger."
"Let me guess, so I can pick up the key and open the door." She was still annoyed and just wanted to get through this insane event.
"That and so that you don't become lunch for the big guy behind you."
"Wait what?"
Before Lacey heard any kind of answer, she quickly paused as she suddenly heard something behind her. It was a growling sound that seemed almost monstrous to her and she could feel the warm breath of some kind of creature. Her hair was moving as she could feel the breath and all she could tell for the moment was that whatever was behind her, it was big.
Fear was creeping into her mind as she slowly began to turn around. The first thing she saw was a set of razor sharp teeth but then could see along with white fur as well as a set of whiskers. Her head began to look up as she also saw a pair of blue eyes as well as some patches of grey fur with black stripes.
To Lacey, the creature looked like some kind of monster that would likely be seen in a science fiction film. But soon she realised that this wasn't what it actually was. She could see the ears at the top of its head and the shape of its nose. It wasn't a monster that she was looking at, rather it was a common housecat. But due to her own tiny size, it made the cat look a lot bigger.
The former towering woman found herself frozen in place. Although it was a long shot, she thought that if she stood absolutely still, the cat might not be able to see her. But when she heard it cry out at her as if it were about to attack, that was when she screamed in panic and began to run away.
As Lacey ran the cat was more than willing to chase after her. From its point of view, she was a mouse that needed to be caught and potentially eaten. She was running as fast as her legs could carry her and she had to duck down a couple of times as the cat had tried to bite down on her.
The only sounds that Lacey was making were screams of terror or panting of effort. But even she knew that she couldn't run away from the cat forever. Worse still, it seemed as though it was gaining ground on her. Within a few seconds, it was likely that she would have been caught and this game of Sastrid's would have a tragic end.
Just out of the corner of her eye, Lacey could see a cupboard door that was slightly open. It looked too big for the cat to be able to get into but perfect for her. Without a second thought, she dived inside as the cat slammed against it and closing it completely. A crashing sound could be heard for the moment but it was from the outside and the mouse size woman was safe.
Taking deep breaths was all that Lacey could do at first as she needed to replenish the oxygen within her body after the huge effort that she had been through. She leaned forward and placed her hands on her lower thighs as she continued to take deep breaths. She probably had never been as terrified as she had been then.
"S-Sastrid," said Lacey to herself as she stood back up. "When I get my hands on you, I'm going to…" Suddenly there was a thud against the cupboard door as the cat outside was trying to get in. The suddenness of it caught her completely by surprise as immediately flinched backwards.
Lacey knew that her safe haven would only be temporary. The cat outside was doing the best that it could to try and open the cupboard door and eventually it would succeed. She would have to come up with some kind of plan in order to save herself.
As she took another couple of steps back from the door, she felt herself back onto something. This made her turn around and see some kind of bag sitting there which was several times taller than she was. On the bag itself, she could see some kind of cartoonish cat as well as what looked to be some kind of cat food just by it.
"Is this cat food?" asked Lacey to herself as she looked at it more. "Wait, if this counts as food, maybe it'll make me grow bigger." Her expression changed as she seemed to be disgusted by the thought. "I'm not particularly fond of the thought of eating cat food." There was another knock of the cupboard door and the white paw of the cat could brief amount of time.
This seemed to convince Lacey that she should eat the cat food but there was something that she realised quickly. If she ate the cat food and grew inside the cupboard, she would quickly run out of room and could find herself trapped. There was also a good chance that it wouldn't cause her to grow in size.
Thanks to her experiences in the previous room, Lacey knew that the cat food could have a wide range of size related changes that could happen. It could make her breasts grow or her hair grow longer. There was even the thought that her tongue might suddenly grow longer which wouldn't help in this situation.
She thought about if there was a way to test the effects of the cat food but the thought of eating it still didn't sound much better to her. But it was around this moment in time when she realised something. If she didn't want to test the cat food on herself, there was an actual cat outside that was trying to eat her.
There was a good chance that whatever change took place would confuse the cat enough for her to make an escape. Then she could hopefully find a way out of the kitchen and into whatever the next room might be. It was a plan that was risky and for the first several moments, she decided against it.
This changed when Lacey saw the door to the cupboard opening and her options were very limited. Because of this, she quickly used all of her strength to rip a tiny hole in it so she could grab one of the dried food pellets. No sooner had she done this, she saw the door open completely and the cat was directly in front of her. It was snarling at her and using all of her strength she threw the pellet at the seemingly gigantic cat and hope that this wasn't the final action of her life.

Sastrid isn't actually going to kill Lacey, of course, She knows that we'd contact the Slayer if that happened.
