Description

Meanwhile, Louise was still trying to think through everything that had just happened. She hadn't even fully noticed that the glow of the energy within her was seeping out a little. This did nothing to really change what had taken place, but she was beginning to feel more natural with it.

At the same time, she was also explaining to Serena some of the things that had taken place since her abilities had continued to increase. This included what had happened with Henri and his new friend Olivier. Serena was truly amazed to hear that her powers had allowed a creature like Henri to lay an egg and then age it up to adulthood in an instant.

"That is truly amazing," said Serena after she had finished listening to what the French giantess had said to her. She found herself sitting on the gigantic sofa just in front of Louise herself.

"Yeah, I'm a little scared," replied Louise. She was looking down at her fellow Guardian and housemate. "But now Henri has a petit ami to play with." She did smile and placed her hands together upon saying this. "Now he won't be lonely when I'm not there."

"I think there's more for you to be concerned about with it. You do realise that you basically created a life."

"Oui, but I only used the ability that God gave to me." There was a hint of worry in her voice as she said this. "So if there is any praise for what I can do, it's no to me but to him." In a way, it was clear that she was using her religious beliefs to try and explain why she could do what she could. Even if she wasn't entirely sure the extent of her abilities. "All those people that you said that I healed in the hospital. I'm just glad I could use my gift to help so many people."

"But still, there could be a lot of attention drawn to this event. Somebody doesn't just heal hundreds, if not thousands of people at once and not get the attention of others. It is no doubt that there will be a lot of people who will seek you out to find their own ailments cured. There might be some who see you as a god."

"I am no God!" There was a sternness in her voice that was unusual for her. But only helped to show how serious she was taking this statement. "I am a mortal woman like any other. The thought of even considering me a God is very silly if you ask me."

Serena even had to admit to herself that she had the inkling of a thought that Louise might have been a goddess of some kind. But it was clear to her that the French giantess didn't feel the same way. A thought set that was difficult for many as she was sure that there were those who would have been drunk with power at this moment in time. But it seemed as though Louise didn't feel the same.

Either due to her general kindness or her religious upbringing. It seemed as though she didn't see herself as a deity in any sense of the word. Only that she was an instrument of a higher power that people should thank, rather than herself. Something that she would claim until her last breath most likely.

"Ok then, I know that but there might be others that would not think the same," said Serena. "There are people who think of a wide range of thoughts, too many for one person to truly comprehend."

Louise fell silent again as she thought about what Serena had said. It was true that she had seen a lot of strange things on the internet and the thoughts of those who wrote on there. Such as some great disasters actually being all part of a government conspiracy or how a simple film for children could lead to the answer to the meaning of life.

It was more than likely that there would be those who would see her as some kind of god, even if she refused to believe it herself. This did make her worry about what was going to happen and it was best for her to stay in her home for the time being. Even if she thought that she should be on patrol and helping people where she could. Just like she wanted to be when she first became a Guardian.

Unfortunately, Louise's home wasn't exactly a building that was inconspicuous. It would be more than easy for anyone to find her if they simply looked up at the horizon. This made her more than worried that her home would be swamped in the near future. But there was something else that did make her worried as well.

This was if this attention towards her would extend to her family in France. The last thing she wanted was for them to be harassed. Especially if it had a negative effect on Thomas. It would only make him want her by his side even more and if he was put in danger. Then she would never forgive herself.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door to the warehouse like abode which caught the two occupants by surprise. This did make them look over to the door and with some care, Louise carefully got up to her feet and went over to answer it. The next thing she expected was to be bombarded with people who wanted to see her and ask questions. Nothing had truly prepared her for this.

As Louise opened the door and looked down, instead of seeing an entire crowd of people there to praise her and ask for her power to heal them. Instead there was only one person there and she was looking a little dishevelled. But it was still someone who the French Giantess actually recognised.

"Lizzie is that you?" asked Louise as she went down to one knee and looked at her mentor. She could see all the dust that was on her body and the fact that her normally pristine hair was completely messy.

"Don't start please," replied Elizabeth as she wasn't too pleased with how things had played out in the last several minutes. "Please, can you just bring me inside, there's a lot we need to talk about."

Louise nodded before placing her hand down on the ground so that her seven foot mentor could step onto it. With some care she picked up the super strong woman and carefully took her inside of her home. Walking back to the sofa where Serena was, was more difficult than it sounded.

The low ceiling made moving around for the French giantess much more difficult than she would have liked. Even when she stood back up, there was a thud as her head struck the ceiling. There was a wince of pain from her as she was just reminded that she was too big for her gigantic home.

After recovering from the impact of striking the ceiling, Louise did bring her mentor over to the sofa where Serena was already waiting for her. The giantess's hand came down and allowed the towering Englishwoman to step off. By now, both relatively normally sized women were used to travelling by giant.

"Elizabeth you're back," said Serena as she was clearly happy to see her mentor once more. But being in the shadow of Louise was something that couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. Even if she knew that the French Giantess was completely harmless as far as she was concerned.

"Yes and unfortunately my trek here wasn't exactly smooth," replied Elizabeth as she was still trying to brush off a lot of dust that was on her body. It was slightly annoying for her but she knew that it was the least of her worries. "There's still a lot of buzz around what happened at the hospital. I can imagine that it won't be long before we get people here wanting to talk to Louise."

"Then what do we do?"

"For now, we'll keep Louise here." She looked up to the towering giantess who was looking down at her. The glowing red eyes was looking back down at her mentor and seemed to be very worried. "I'm sorry, but it's all we can do for the short term. It's best to stay offline as well. Especially stay away from social media."

"But what about talking to ma famille?" asked Louise. Her tone was just as worried as her facial expression.

"You can still talk to your family, that's fine. Just don't talk to anyone else. Can you do that for me?"

"Oui." She nodded as she said this and she hadn't entirely noticed that she was beginning to glow again. This time, the aura that surrounded her wasn't as bright as it had been at the hospital, but it was still something that was taking place.

"Louise, you're glowing again!"

"What?" She looked at her hands and could see what was happening and became very worried. With what had happened each time that her powers activated, she wasn't sure what was going to happen next. Everyone in her vicinity wasn't injured or sick as far as she knew. This was still something that she was worried about as she had no idea if something positive or negative was going to take place.

A growth spurt was also possible and with her already great size, it would be disastrous. But before she could say anything, she found herself experiencing an uncomfortable feeling inside of her. She wasn't sure exactly what was happening, but it felt as though something was taking place with her organs.

Louise couldn't help but groan as she could feel numerous organs within her body change in ways that she couldn't see. It was as though they were improving and making some certain bodily functions obsolete. Her heartrate was had increased during this time as the changes took place.

Her torso even became longer for a few moments until it returned back to being in proportion with the rest of her body. The two Guardians watched on what was happening and could do nothing to stop the changes or even explain the currently unfolding events.

She needs like a real checkup, but her situation is unlike anyone else’s, so it wouldn’t be helpful enough.
