Guardians Of The Northern City: Chapter 91

There was great surprise from everyone within the hospital as they could feel their bodies reacting to the strange energy that enveloped the building. There was pure shock and awe over the process as some people felt parts of their body disappear and then be replaced by perfectly healthy versions.

People who were suffering from illnesses found the infected parts of their bodies be cleaned away. This was happening to hundred and hundreds of people within the hospital and there was nothing that could be done to stop it. It would be considered a scientific marvel by some but to others, it was simply a miracle.

Louise could see what she had done but didn't know exactly how to react to it. More than anything, she was surprised by what was taking place. Although she had seen her powers do things that were almost too fantastical to believe, but she had never done it on this scale. Everyone within the hospital was being healed of their ailments and pregnant women were giving birth to fully healthy babies. Even those who ere still weeks, even months from actually giving birth.

The elderly that were on the verge of dying could feel themselves grabbed a new leash of life. Their aching body and failing bodies were completely energised to the point that they began to feel as they had done in their prime. Nothing short of what could be considered a miracle of their time.

The process was over and done with in less than a minute and the results spoke for themselves. Not only did the patients within the hospital find themselves cured of their ailments but the staff too could feel that their health had improved. One doctor who had been quite close to the ward that had housed Serena soon found that the jaw infection that he had been dealing with for some time had disappeared.

The three guardians were in complete stunned silence as they were taking in everything that had just happened. Elizabeth looked around the ward and could see that they were coming around and getting up to their feet. Any pain that they had once felt had completely disappeared and they were in great disbelief.

Even Serena found herself getting up to her feet. Something that she hadn't expected to do on her own power for a good several weeks. But it felt as though her replaced body part was as good as new. Almost as if it had never been injured in the first place. Much to her relief and amazement.

"Serena, are you aright?" asked Elizabeth as she was greatly concerned about her former apprentice.

"I-I'm fine," replied Serena who was more than surprised by how she was able to walk at this moment in time. The process might have been unpleasant but the end results more than spoke for themselves.

"What did you do Louise?" She turned to the window and quickly took a look outside but immediately she didn't see her apprentice. Something that should have been close to impossible for someone of the French Giantess's size.

Quickly, Elizabeth made her way towards the window and looked outside of it better. It was only then when she was finally able to spot Louise who was sitting some distance away. She seemed to be in just as much shock as everyone else. She looked at her hands and could see a faint red glow from it.

This glow lasted for several moments before it eventually faded away. Her fear was evident as she truly wanted to know what she was capable of. The last thing that she wanted was to was for her powers to cause harm to others. Even if at that moment in time, it seemed as though the opposite was the case.

The next thing that Louise knew, she could feel something knock against her foot. This caused her glowing red eyes to look down and she saw her mentor standing there. Her fears were subsiding thanks to her presence, but she still couldn't help but feel as though she might have done something wrong.

"It's alright Louise," said Elizabeth as she knew that she needed to calm down her apprentice. "You don't have to be worried." She knew that this wasn't the case as she knew about what had been asked of her by their superiors. But for now, she wanted to forget about this for the time being and do her best as a mentor.

"I know Lizzie," replied Louise who continued to look at her hands. They were like she had always remembered, but on a much larger scale than the norm. "But it's just that my powers are changing so much. It makes me wonder what I'm actually capable of." There was clearly some fear on her face as she thought about what could happen next with her powers.

The chances of her harming someone was still too great for her to use her powers freely. The unpredictable aspects of it was even causing her to be extremely cautious. Although such as this event, the energy flowed from her against her will and things had played out beyond her control.

"You'll control it, I know that you will," said Elizabeth as she wanted to be as reassuring and supportive as she could. Even if it seemed that she was a small doll in comparison to a giantess.

"I hope," replied Louise as she continued to look at her hands. "I've been able to do more than I could have ever dreamed of. What if I'm capable of using these powers in negative ways?"

"Even if you could, you won't. I know you and how you would never use your size and power to harm anyone. You've seen how much people love you for everything that you've done for them. So there's no need to be afraid, or you need to do is learn how exactly your powers work. Then we can do everything that we can to make sure that you can control them. We can do this together."

This did make Louise smile as she did like to think about her and Elizabeth working together to learn about the limitations and extent of her abilities as well as bonding further as master and apprentice. But her thoughts were distracted when she saw many people stepping out of the main entrance of the hospital.

Most of them had been patients who had been there to be treated, but their ailments had been completely healed by the French Giantess. They seemed to be just as confused as everyone else over the events that had taken place. These ones weren't the same as the ones who had been lying in a bed or about to go through some kind of operation. Instead, these were people who had been there for an appointment concerning their ailemnt.

Now this ailemnt had been completely scrubbed away from their bodies. None of them knew exactly what had happened to them. All that they knew was that they were no longer in pain or had to deal with whatever had been causing them so much grief. Now, they felt much like they had done before all of this had happened. None of them realised what had happened and were simply glad to be healthy.

Even Serena found herself walking around a little on the ward and even jumped up and down carefully. Her knee felt as good as new and she even kicked out a couple of times. There were doctors and nurses throughout the hospital that were very confused by the events that had taken place.

One such doctor was in the ward where Serena located except rather than focusing on her, he instead was looking at a man who had been a patient. He had recently been involved in a car accident that had caused his legs to be amputated below his knees. Now these two lost limbs had grown back completely. Although the tattoo that he had on them hadn't returned. Everything else had returned as good as new.

Serena had some inkling over what had happened and was both amazed and completely flabagasted. Never had she imagined that Louise's abilities could have been used on this scale. Even though she had absorbed some of the energy before, even she didn't think that it would be this potent.

Serena did step towards the window and thought about what would happen due to this. If things had escalated to the scale that she suspected, she thought that many people would be currently owing their lives to Louise. The inner workings of the energy that the French Giantess could generate was pretty amazing for her to think about. Especially if things were to continue to develop at this speed.

Carefully, Serena went to the window and could see Louise there speaking with Elizabeth. She noticed how the giantess's breasts were larger than they had been before and were jiggling every time she moved. A part of her couldn't help but be a little jealous over this but it was fair from what was important at that moment in time.

"What is Louise really capable of?" asked Serena to herself as she was truly amazed and worried about the situation. "Is she some kind of goddess?" Thanks to Louise's religious beliefs, it was highly doubtful that she would consider herself any kind of deity. Especially since it would go against one of the ten commandments.

All of this made her quite worried about how things were playing out. Unlike her former mentor, Serena had no idea about what had been ordered. But she couldn't help but suspect that their superiors would interject in some way to curb how things were playing out. Even if it could cause Louise some harm.
