Guardians Of The Northern City: Chapter 87

There were a couple of deer who were eating some foliage that they had come across. Things for them had been uneventful as they were simply minding their own business. However, they were on the constant lookout for predators. Thankfully none of them had been encountered that day and they were in a state of calm. It was as if they believed that there was no threat to them.

Suddenly they felt a shudder through the ground. This did catch their attention and they looked in the direction that was just behind them. They didn't seem to be all that bothered and simply carried on with grazing. However, the shudders continued and this made them quickly begin to move away from where they were.

Just a few moments later, the gigantic foot of Louise came down where the two deer had just been. Each of her steps were still taken with care as she continued to walk forward. Her mentor was on her shoulder and seemed to be enjoying the view. It had been one thing being carried by Louise when she had been eighty feet in height. But now that her height had doubled, Elizabeth was taken aback by just how beautiful things were around them. It almost seemed as though she was on the top of a moving tower.

Every now and again, she did cough as she was recovering from having her liver disintegrate and then regrow. A process that had still been quite amazing to say the least. Although she wasn't entirely sure what had happened. All she knew that something had happened within her and she felt better than she had before.

"I forgot to ask," said Louise as she glanced over to her mentor. Her glowing red eyes were evident and quite stunning. Seeing them closer now, Elizabeth was able to notice something that she hadn't before.

This was the fact that it wasn't a simple glowing, but there was something swirling inside of her irises. It was almost like a like an ocean in her eyes as it would become slightly brighter and then slightly dimmer. Something that was quite mesmerising to see and just another hint of the power that she had inside.

"What is that?" asked Elizabeth.

"You went to see Serena today, how is she?" replied Louise with genuine concern in her voice. She hadn't seen her in hospital, simply because she was too big to fit inside and the injured Guardian was in a place that she couldn't reach properly.

"She's not too bad although it is expected to take around six months for her to be fully healed again. Unfortunately, whatever comes up now, we're not going to be able to get any help from her."

"That is a shame." She did feel a little guilty over this as she felt that it was her fault that this had happened. "Hopefully she'll feel soon."

"I hope so." She did consider asking her apprentice to use her healing abilities on Serena. But thought that it was best not to just yet. There were still too many unknown factors about Louise's abilities and so, she wanted to be cautious. That was until she knew the full capabilities of this unusual energy that she possessed. "She would be a really big help in all of this."

"I thought I was a big help." This did get a slight chuckle from both women as they thought that the joke deserved that. But suddenly the French Giantess felt something within her that caused her to stop dead in her tracks. "Huh?"

"What is it?" There was concern in the voice of Elizabeth as she could see that there was some worry on the face of her apprentice.

"I feel odd."

Before Louise could finish what she was going to say, her body began to glow. This time it was against her will and she could feel an bloated feeling that was coming from her chest. As she looked down, she could see her breasts growing in size. This wasn't the first time that such a thing had happened, but it was still worrying for her.

The breasts continued to grow for several moments before the glow finally subsided. By then though, her breasts had grown quite significantly. It was to the point that she couldn't help but look at them and she even placed her hands underneath them. It made her ability to see the ground below a little more difficult. In fact, she couldn't even see her feet at that moment in time.

"Pas encore," said Louise as she couldn't help but be slightly annoyed by the sudden change. Just another unwanted occurrence to take place thanks to her powers.

"Oh great," replied Elizabeth who could see the size of her apprentice's assets. There was a small part of her thar couldn't help but be jealous. But even before the recent change Louise still had the largest breasts in the world. "Don't tell me that you're just going to continue changing again."

"I hope not." She lifted her breasts up for a moment and then allowed them to drop. They did feel heavy and she was worried for a moment that she was going to fall over. But thankfully, she was able to keep her balance, even if it did mean taking a couple of steps forward.

Unfortunately, the movement did cause Elizabeth to fall off of Louise's shoulder. There was only a grunt of annoyance as she landed on the ground with a loud thud. This caused a small crater from where she had landed but she found herself unable to get up straight away. This wasn't because she had injured herself, her invulnerability had put an end to that. Rather it was because she suddenly saw Louise's foot just above her.

Faster than she could react, the foot came down onto her as she French Giantess seemed to be more confused than anything else. She was looking at the ground to try and find her mentor but couldn't see anything. This did cause her to worry and her blind spot didn't entirely help her either.

"Lizzie, où es-tu?" asked Louise as she continued to look around. Suddenly she heard a muffled sound that was a little surprising for her. But this did make her look down and she even felt something pushing up slightly from her foot. She immediately lifted it up and looked at where her foot had been. "Je suis vraiment désolé."

"I-It's alright," replied Elizabeth. Her body hadn't been wounded by all of this. But her pride had definitely gotten a knock or two. Carefully she got up to her feet and staggered for a moment as she regained her balance.

Louise quickly went down to one knee as she wanted to tend to her. Thankfully it seemed as though the towering Englishwoman was unharmed and all she had to worry about was that her clothes had become a little dirty. A regular person would have been nothing more than a pancake at this moment in time.

"Need me to help you?" asked Louise who was still very worried about what had happened. She was just thankful that her mentor could endure such an event and walk away without a scratch.

"No, I'm fine thanks," replied Elizabeth as she began to knock some of the dirt on her clothing. "Just try and be more careful." She saw this as an opportunity to teach her oversized apprentice a lesson. "Unfortunately, especially for you changes in your body can happen at any time. You must always be wary of these and adjust where possible. Can you try and do that?"

"Oui Lizzie." She nodded as she took in the lesson and thought about what had been said. Even if it would be more difficult than she wanted to admit. She placed her hand on the ground and allowed her mentor to step onto it. No sooner had she done this, she stood back up to her full height.

Like before, Louise placed Elizabeth onto her shoulder but this time. She used a strand of her head hair to wrap around her mentor. This time she would at least be safe from falling as neither wanted a repeat of what had just happened.

As Louise did walk, there was something that Elizabeth couldn't help but notice. This was the fact that with each step that the French giantess made, her breasts would jiggle a little. It was somewhat distracting as almost every movement that she made caused some kind of jiggle.

This was something that hadn't been noticed by Louise as she was just continuing to walk. Every now and again, she would have to move a tree branch out of the way of her path. She only used enough force to move it and not cause the branch itself to snap. But there was something that she didn't really notice when she did this.

Even though she hadn't powered herself up, by touching the trees she was transferring a tiny amount of her life energy. She wouldn't notice that around a minute after she walked away, the tree would grow a little taller and generate even more leaves than it had before she had touched it.

Instead, Louise simply kept walking and was careful with each step that she took. But with her recent change, she couldn't help but be a little worried. She remembered the last time that her breasts had grown. It had led to a growth spurt not too long afterwards and she didn't like the idea of going through another one. Even if such a thing would more or less an inevitability.
