Thomas's father was experiencing fear unlike he had ever felt in his entire life. The woman that he once had a sexual relationship and had shunned was holding him as if he was a mere toy. Just one quick move or a tightening of her grip would be enough to put a permanent end to his existence.
For a moment, he did think about trying to reason with Louise. But he thought that at her elevated stated that such a thing would be impossible. All he could do was pray to a higher power that he survived this event. Although at this moment in time he wouldn't bet on such a thing.
"Louise, s'il te plaît, dépose-moi?" asked Thomas's Father as he begged for the giantess to put him down. Instead, he saw her glance to him and he could see the absolute hatred in her eyes.
"Ferme-là," replied Louise with an unusual sternness in her voice. Her mind was thinking about what she should do with this man. Even at her heightened emotional state, she didn't want to actually kill him. Or even harm him in any way.
More than anything, she wanted him to be a good father to Thomas. The boy who brought so much joy into her life and she wanted to have a happy upbringing. But she wondered how happy Thomas would truly be if his father was involved with his life. He had already demonstrated that he wanted nothing to do with their son. Even had called him a bastard which hurt Louise more than she could formulate into words.
In the end, Louise simply stepped out of the ruins of the nightclub and knelt down to one knee. Lowering her hand, she placed Thomas's father onto the ground and then stood back up to her full height. Allowing her incredible stature to loom over him and be a tower of intimidation.
"Va-t'en! Tout de suite!" stated Louise as she thought that she might regret her actions. Even if she thought that she was doing the right thing. There was a coldness to her voice that made it very jarring and unsettling.
Thomas's Father wasn't going to waste this opportunity as he quickly fled from the scene. Never once did he turn back to look at Louise. She simply glared down at him as she watched him run like a mouse as she was tempted to take a step forward and stomp on him. It took a lot of willpower and her own beliefs to keep her actions in check.
There was also the sound of sirens all around as the emergency services began to convene in the area. Louise took several moments to consider her next actions. One strong idea that she had was to run away and try to hide herself somewhere. But hiding a woman as large as herself wasn't going to be an easy task in the slightest. Instead, she thought that it was best to simply sit down and await their arrival. At least then maybe she could get the help that she needed. Or at the worst be arrested for property damage and public nudity. Something that would bring her some embarrassment.
Louise's mind found itself back in the present and on an entirely different continent. She glanced over to Erica who was still sitting on her shoulder and seemed to be quite saddened by what she had heard. Never had she imagined that the French Giantess had experienced something so terrible such as that.
"Are you alright there Louise?" asked Erica as she saw that her friend had spaced out a little. As if she was on another planet in a manner of speaking.
"Oui," replied Louise as she closed her eyes for the moment and smiled. It was a little jarring to see that even when her eyes were closed, the red glow did still shine through them. Even if they were far dimmer than earlier.
"You were kind of staring into space there."
"Désolée, I was in a world of my own." She opened her eyes and looked down to see that they weren't too far away from their destination. In fact, it was only a few more steps for her before she had reached Erica's abode.
There was some care in the steps of the giantess but eventually she found a place that was easy for her to kneel down and place her friend onto the ground. For Erica, it always felt odd when she was carried by Louise. But she didn't feel as if she were in any danger at all. It always felt as though she was perfectly safe and didn't have to worry about falling or even being harmed.
"Are you sure that you're going to be alright?" asked Erica as she continued to look up at the French giantess.
"Oui, tout ira bien," replied Louise with an upbeat tone to her voice. "Or as fine as I can be. Then again, it's like we talked about. I'm like this because God has a plan for me. I'm not entirely sure what this plan is, but I have faith in his judgement. If he wants me to be bigger, then I'm sure that it's for a good reason."
"Yes he does, just keep your chin up and keep being a beacon of hope for the city." She then smiled up at the giantess who in turn smiled back down at her.
Once this was over, both of them said their goodbyes to one another before Louise stood up to her full height and began to walk away. At first, she wasn't walking anywhere in particular but she did think that it was best to go back to her warehouse like home. Even if it was now uncomfortably small for her.
As she looked up to the sky for a moment, she could see that the sun was beginning to set. It looked beautiful over the horizon and she couldn't help but smile a little. Even on the days where life was trying to kick her to the curb, she could still see beauty in almost everywhere she looked.
It did give her some hope for the future but she couldn't help but wonder what Elizabeth and Serena would say when they saw one another next. Of course, she expected them to be surprised over her increased size but exactly what would happen was unknown to her. She also thought about how she was going to explain her newly obtained regeneration abilities. It was something that she was still wrapping her head around as well.
There was something else that Louise did think and this was how she was going to explain her growth spurt to her family. Her mother had already clearly noticed that there was something not right with her. But she had been able to bluff her way through the video call but it most likely wouldn't work a second time. Now she just hoped that there truly was some kind of reason for all of this to happen.
It wasn't until later that evening when Louise learned about what had happened to her two mentors. Serena was already in hospital and in surgery in order to treat her broken knee. The break had been worse than originally thought and it was possible that it would be several months before she could properly walk again.
Elizabeth had briefly been in the hospital with her former apprentice. But soon found herself sitting in the office of the Mayor. Thankfully, she had been able to change into another outfit before she had arrived there. Sitting down and giving a report while she was wearing nothing but her underwear wouldn't have been professional in the slightest.
The Mayor looked out of the window in her office and seemed to be taking a moment to gather her thoughts. Within her mind was a combination of both anger and a sense of relief at the same time. However, after a couple of moments she turned around in order to look at the Towering Guardian who was currently sitting down on a chair.
"So let me get this straight," said the Mayor as she leaned down onto her desk. "Not only did you lose our only lead but you also have no idea who was truly behind this attack?"
"Y-Yes," replied Elizabeth as she felt nervous. "But I assure you, it wasn't at the hands of either myself or Serena that caused her death. It was as if something inside of her was set off."
"At this moment in time, it doesn't matter what happened but the fact that it did. If what you're telling me is true, than this so called villain was actually working for someone else. This doesn't make my position on events any better. I already have officers at the scene and trying to obtain as much evidence as they can. But I have my doubts, plus one Guardian is out of action for God knows how long. Another is clearly experiencing some kind of problem with her powers. Tell me, how do you think we can do anything that could remotely fix this situation."
"I'm not sure."
"That's fantastic." It was clear that the Mayor's frustration was getting the better of her and she took a moment in order to try and calm down. She sighed and placed her thumb and index as she continue to try and gather her thoughts. "Look, we're between a rock and a hard place right now. Your investigation basically concluded with our leads coming to a dead end. All we can do now is wait for whoever is the ringleader of all of this to make their next move. In the meantime, you have to get to the bottom of what is happening with your apprentice. I believe that you have seen the videos already?"
"No I haven't."
It was around this moment in time when Elizabeth was shown the video that had been taken by a member of the public. There, she saw that Louise was even bigger than she was before as she helped with the building fire. Not only did it show her at her largest size but also the moment when the French Giantess had regenerated her badly burned hand. Such a thing had never seen before by her and she was trying to think of how that had happened. But it was as if there was a new side to Louise that she had never seen before. It was as if there was plenty more that she needed to learn.

Have a lot to say and question about this, as the flashback has a quick end, and this long day is near the ending.
And so the flashback continues with nothing much other than actually Louise do question if her ex boyfriend really can be the father she want him to be, but she now feels with nothing but absolute hatred against. Really adds to how he should just never come back and take that role because in the end there’s more reasons to why that, instead of the opposite. Especially now this couple now sees each other as if they never loved each other in the first place. 😓
And back to the current times, looks like Erica has to leave now, and both sides are slowly catching up to each other. 🤔
