Guardians Of The Northern City: Chapter 134

To anyone watching on, what they were seeing was close to being too unbelievable to believe. The two creatures that they had been tasked with caring for were acting very differently to how they normally did. Normally, they would be quite monstrous and potentially even dangerous to get close to. In fact, no one dared to actually go inside of their enclosure while they were present.

Now the two dinosaur like creatures were acting like overgrown puppies as they were playing with their favourite person. The sudden appearance of Louise had caught them by surprise but how she was treating the creatures she named Henri and Olivier was quite surprising. Even now, she was giving them both belly rubs at the same time.

Her chuckles could be heard quite clearly and it almost seemed as though she was having just as much fun as they were. Eventually, she did begin to give Henri a hug in her large arms. This did make her quite happy, but there was a whining that she did begin to hear that seemed to just be in front of her.

“Olivier?” asked Louise as she looked towards the creature that was standing in front of her. She heard him continue to whine and she already knew what he wanted. “I’m sorry, but there’s not enough room for both of you.”

Even when she said this, she smiled at the creature as she knew that this was only a temporary problem. Even before she had finished, she already was beginning to increase her size quite dramatically. Olivier did take a step back as he watched his favourite person growing larger right in front of him. From the point of view of some, it looked as though Henri was shrinking in her arms.

Despite all of this, she still kept a good hold onto him and made sure that he was safe. But even as soon as her growth spurt had begun, it came to a sudden end. By then, she had doubled her height which made her seem even more gigantic than she had been just a few moments ago.

“There we go,” said Louise as she continued to smile at the seemingly tiny creature that was just in front of her. “Now there’s more than enough room for you.”

No sooner had she said this, she saw Olivier jumping into her arms. When he reached his destination, he found himself feeling a sense of both warmth and safety. It was as if he felt that the giant woman wouldn’t allow anything to harm him. He could feel her unconditional love towards him and this did make him nestle his snout in the fabric of her clothing and even seemed to fall asleep.

Olivier wasn’t the only one who was falling asleep as the same thing was happening to Henri at the same time. They hadn’t noticed that there was a warm glow around them that was radiating from her body. She simply smiled down at them as this happened and she did feel loving towards them.

There had been nothing to indicate that this had only merely been the avatar of Louise and not the woman herself. She knew that if she didn’t get this right that she would have been rejected by the pair. But the fact that they had accepted her without question only showed just how much she had perfected her avatar. Ground was being replaced with actual flesh, or at least an imitation of it.

During this time, the French Giantess looked down at the pair and she couldn’t help but feel a sense of worry. The fact that these two creatures were still held in this oversized pen was nothing short of a miracle. She knew that there were some who wanted them destroyed as they saw them as a threat.

Even now, as the two creatures lay in her arms like a couple of oversized puppies who were just appreciating the love that she was giving them. The last thing she wanted was for them to be killed and she knew that she wouldn’t always be around to be there with them. Instead, she knew that she was going to have to do something quite drastic.

“Henri, Olivier,” said Louise. No sooner had she said their names the two creatures looked directly up at her. “Mommy loves you very much, so you just relax in her arms and let her take care of everything.”

The two creatures did as they were told as they simply went back to lying in her arms and simply feeling her warmth. What they hadn’t noticed was that she had begun to glow the usual red colour that she made when using her abilities. At first it only covered her body, but after a few moments, they too were bathed in the energy. To them, it was just a soothing sensation that made them very docile.

The glow continued as Louise began to shrink in size. This was nothing unusual as this was an ability she had thanks to her simply being an avatar for the true Louise. But what was unusual was that Henri and Olivier were shrinking along with her. The process was quite amazing to behold as the two creatures shrank in proportion to their maternal figure and this was all being witnessed by those who were inside the facility.

None of them could believe what they were seeing. More and more, they could see that the two creatures were shrinking with every passing moment. Some were worried about this, while others couldn’t help but be relieved. Housing and feeding them had been very expensive and shrinking them like this was reducing that bill.

Louise continued to shrink along with the two creatures and eventually, she was doing to what many considered to be a normal size. Henri and Olivier were very small in comparison but even then she still shrank along with them. But eventually, the energy around them had subsided and the process finally came to an end.

By then, the now former giantess was barely a foot in height. This had made the dinosaur like creatures only a few inches in height. So small that they could easily fit in the hand of a regular person. They might have still had their teeth and claws, but at least they wouldn’t be able to escape and go on some kind of rampage.

In a way, now they did look like infants to her and she did place them down on the ground. They were barely taller than the grass that was around them but they hadn’t noticed any change. All of their focus had been on Louise and because of this, they were happy and could do no wrong.

“Mommy has to go now,” said Louise. There was some regret in her voice and she even leaned down and gave Henri a kiss on his snout. She did the same for Olivier and this only made them happier. “But I loves you very much and I don’t know when she will see you again. However, I expect you both to be very good for everyone who cares for you. You’re both very special and above all, the best little dinosaurs that someone like me could ever ask for.”

No sooner had she said this, Louise began to sink back into the ground. There wasn’t much confusion from the two creatures as they had seen this a couple of times already. They just stood there and watched as it happened although they didn’t fully understand what had just been said to them.

In a matter of moments, the French giantess was completely gone. There didn’t seem to be any trace of her left and the two creatures looked at each other for a moment. A few growls and snapping of jaws could be heard as they seemed to be communicating between one another.

Before they could decide what to do next, they suddenly felt what seemed to be small shudders through the ground. For a moment, they thought that their gigantic maternal figure had returned. But as they looked up, they could see that it indeed was a woman. However, rather than wearing one of the usual dresses that Louise wore, instead it was clearly a military uniform.

The seemingly gigantic woman went down to one knee and looked down at the creatures. They looked up at her and seemed to be somewhat confused but they saw her enormous hands come down and pick them up. A few growls came from their mouths but they remembered their mother’s words. Thanks to this, they quickly settled down and almost seemed to accept that things were going to be different from now on.
