There was some nervousness that could be felt by Officer Daniels who was the first person to arrive at the apartment. This wasn't because he was the most qualified but simply because he was the one closest to the scene. Already he had called back-up as he knew that it would take nothing short of an army to stop the Guardian.
It wasn't the first time that he had responded to such a thing but with those, the people involved might have been criminals.
However, none of them had been able to knock down a skyscraper with a single punch. He had seen files on Elizabeth and knew about her feats of strength.
All he could do was hope that the electronic tag that she was wearing was sending out a false alarm. Those did happen from time to time and normally it would be resolved very quickly. He didn't think that this would be this time, considering who he was going to have to come into contact with.
Officer Daniels did arrive at the address and could see that the front door of the apartment was wide open. Carefully, he stepped inside and tried to look for the towering woman who lived there. Instead, all he could see were empty bottles on the ground and the remains of the electronic tag.
This did make him quite relieved since it meant that he didn't have to deal with Elizabeth but it did mean something else entirely. The Guardian was out of the apartment and she couldn't be tracked for the moment. Instead, she would have to be found as soon as possible, even if such a large woman would be relatively easy to find.
Some miles away, Elizabeth did land on the ground after launching herself into the air a couple of miles away. There was a loud crashing sound as she landed and anyone who was close by were immediately taken by surprise. They did hear some screams as well from the tiny Serena who was in her former mentor's hand.
To her, it was as if she was on a terrifying roller coaster as she would find herself hundreds of feet in the air. Then fall towards the ground at a fantastic speed. If it wasn't for the drunk woman who was carrying her, she would have splattered herself on the ground multiple times by now.
The startled people around them was being Elizabeth as she simply looked around. Her inebriated state was quite obvious to see and she looked at the tiny woman in her hand and couldn't help but smile.
"Is the evil woman close to here?" asked Elizabeth. Her words were slightly slurred and her cheeks were a little red.
"I-I think that she is that way," replied Serena as she pointed in a direction that was towards their right.
"Ok then, buckle up!"
"Wait can we…"
Before Serena could finish her sentence, she felt herself be thrown up into the air once again when Elizabeth jumped. In a matter of seconds, they both found themselves more than a thousand feet in the air. Higher than any building in the city and in a way, it almost felt as though they were flying.
This only lasted for a few moments before they began to fall back down to earth. Even though she had experienced it a few times already, Serena couldn't help but scream. She feared that in her current state that she might be dropped by Elizabeth who just seemed to be laughing while she was doing this.
Thankfully, this didn't happen as they landed on the ground in what seemed to be a field of some kind. It was definitely for a sport but the tiny woman wasn't sure which one as the landing had caused a small crater in the ground. As expected, Elizabeth was completely unharmed by the fall.
"Oops," said Elizabeth as she wasn't entirely taking what she had done seriously. "Did I do that?"
"For the love of God!" replied Serena who was rapidly losing her patience with her former mentor. "Stop for a second. We're both in God knows how much trouble and you're just creating more property damage. I have no idea what we're going to do now!"
"I know what we're going to do."
"You do?" She couldn't help but feel a little worried about what was about to happen. When Elizabeth was like this.
"Yeah, we're going to find the bad guy and then kick their arse!" She laughed again as she jumped up into the air.
This time, they even saw a flock of birds flying by as they jumped and above them they even heard a jet flying above. Serena feared that if Elizabeth had jumped too high and struck the jet. If it had been a passenger plane, then it could have lead to the deaths of hundreds of people.
The Englishwoman's recklessness was getting dangerous as far as Serena was concerned. She knew that she had to do something to stop her but their size difference made such a thing difficult if not impossible. Even if she had been her full size, Elizabeth's strength was second to none.
Eventually, they did land back onto the ground with another great crash. It was only at this time when Serena did what she felt that she needed to do as she placed her hand onto the skin of her former mentor. Then she unleashed what she hoped would be a minor shock for the seven foot woman.
There was a scream from Elizabeth as she couldn't help but let go of the tiny woman. Serena did fall but did use her powers to stabilise herself and make herself land safely. She sighed for a moment but she soon found herself looking up at the looming figure of Elizabeth who glared down at her.
"What the fuck?" asked Elizabeth as she did stagger for the moment thanks to how much she drank.
"I needed to stop you!" replied Serena. Despite the size difference between them, she still stood her ground. Her own annoyance made it so that she stood her ground. "Right now, you're completely out of control!"
"Only because I'm trying to help you take down this bitch who tried to hurt Louise. When I get my hands on her I'll crush her skull." As she was saying this, she gestured her hands to show this action.
"Maybe not go that far. But she does deserve justice. Instead of jumping from one place to another, let's just run there, shall we. At least then I can direct you better."
"Fine." Before Serena could say another word. She felt herself get grabbed by the towering Englishwoman. "Which way are they?"
"That way." She pointed towards the west of where they were standing. "But…"
Before Serena said another word, she felt Elizabeth began to run at top speed in the direction that was pointed out. In a very short amount of time she was running as fast as a car. Something that was hard for people to wrap their heads around. She was more or less an unstoppable force as nothing would be able to slow her down.
All they could do was hope that they would be successful in their endeavour. Even if they still had some way to go and hopefully, Elizabeth's current state wouldn't be a hindrance. But even so, it was clear that she wanted to help Louise and maybe even find a way to bring the gigantic Frenchwoman back.
