Every step that Diane was taken with some difficulty. Already she had tripped over her feet numerous times thanks to their current size. Slowly but surely, she was getting used to walking during her current predicament. Each trip would happen further and further away from each other. A clear indication that although she was still abnormal thanks to her change, she was adjusting.

One thing that she couldn't help but do as she walked as well was simply look over the horizon. Her general view before had always been quite elevated thanks to being a giant. But now that she was even larger, she could see things that had been out of sight beforehand. She could see one major city that looked to be many miles away. However, she couldn't truly fathom just how far it was.

But when Diane did look over the horizon, she suddenly felt something underneath her foot. This caused her to instantly stop in her tracks as she feared what she might have stepped on. Fear entered the body of the elongated giantess as she slowly lifted up her foot and she was terrified to see what she had stepped on.

"Please don't be a house, please don't be a house," stated Diane to herself as she did lift her foot. As she looked down, she still feared that she might have stepped on something important, or someone. Instead, she could see what looked to be a tree and she couldn't help but sigh in relief. "Oh good, it's just a tree." She began to chuckle as she felt further relief over what had happened. "I guess I worried myself over nothing."

One thing that the elongated giantess hadn't notice that just before she had stepped onto the tree, a flock of birds had been sitting on it. They had all quickly fled before her gigantic foot had come down onto their perch. None of them were particularly pleased with what had taken place and already, they were flying up to her head.

It took longer than they had expected, but the birds did reach Diane's head and once again, her fear began to set in. Thanks to her great size, these birds were no larger than insects to her and this seemed to cause her Entomophobia to act up.

"Hey leave me alone!" shouted Diane as she began to wave her long arms and hands in order to try and get rid of the birds. "Shoo, go away!"

Unfortunately, many of the birds had begun to peck at her face. Although it didn't cause her too much damage, she could still feel them on her skin. This only caused her fear to overtake her as she screamed out at the top of her lungs. The volume and pitch of the scream did scare the birds away for the moment and in her panic, she began to run as fast as her incredibly long legs could carry her.

However, once again she tripped over her large feet and this time, she had no time to prepare herself for the fall. Because of this, Diane fell face first into the ground and this caused another, very strong tremor to run through the ground. Her feet were in the air and the whole situation looked quite comical for anyone who might have been watching.

It wasn't funny for the giantess though as she slowly sat herself up and placed her hands on her head. The pain was still there and she couldn't help but have some tears in her eyes. There had been many great threats and enemies that she had faced in her life. But as far as she could see, this was probably one of the worst things that had ever happened to her.

"Ow," cried Diane as she continued to hold onto her head. She could feel the pain and was worried that she might have suffered a concussion. It wasn't everyday that someone could say that they had fallen over two hundred feet, banged their head on the ground and survive. Her friend Ban could have achieved such a thing thanks to his immortality, but it was something that she couldn't think of at that moment in time.

While she was trying to nurse her head, she couldn't help but cross her legs. It was around this moment in time when she noticed how odd it seemed. It was true that her legs were incredibly long, making up around three-fifths of her overall height. It made crossing them that little bit more awkward for her.

Once she was no longer dazed, Diane couldn't help but uncross her legs and stretch them out in front of her. She looked at them with some amazement as she simply looked at their sheer length. There was no doubt that in the Seven Deadly Sins, she had the longest legs in the group. But now, she could claim that title in not just sheer length but also with how they were in proportion to her body.

"My feet look so far away," said Diane with a small amount of amazement on her face. There was likely going to be a small lump on her forehead after what she had experienced. "Maybe I can…" She began to stretch her very long arms and hands and attempted to touch her toes. Even with their incredible length, this was a feat that was impossible for her. Due to the simple fact that her legs were so long. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

The next thing that Diane did hear was a growling sound. For the moment, she thought that it could be a ferocious beast of some kind. But she soon realised that it wasn't the case at all. Instead, the sound originated from her own stomach. Her hunger struck her as if she hadn't eaten a scrap of food for a week.

This did cause her some confusion since she had eaten her fill just before she had started out on her journey. Even then, it had only been around an hour and a half ago since she had done this. As far as she was concerned, there was no reason for her to be so hungry whatsoever and yet, her stomach begged to differ.

"I-I guess growing so tall has made me really hungry," said Diane to herself as she continued hold her hand over her stomach. "But I can't think of food right now, I need to get to Merlin so that she can make me normal again." Suddenly, her stomach began to growl again, this time sounding even louder. "No, I'll eat something later!" It seemed insane to her that she was having an argument with her own stomach but this seemed to be happening as it growled once more. "Ok fine, I'll have a snack and then I'll continue onto Merlin." Slowly she stood up to her full height again and for a moment, she was a little uneasy on her feet. However, she was soon able to regain her balance. "Now, let's see…" Diane began to look around her to see if there was any place that she could grab something to eat.

Her first thought was trying to make her way to the ocean. She feared that it might take an entire whale to satisfy her hunger. However, no matter which direction she looked, she couldn't see the ocean at all, a clear indication that she was too far away. This was somewhat disheartening but a solution soon presented itself.

Not too far away from where the elongated giantess was standing, she could spot what seemed to be a small town. A smile appeared on her face as she thought that for the first time that day, that her luck was finally going to change.

"Hey, there's a town just over there," said Diane with a hint of delight in her town. "Looks to be a few miles away, but I guess that's only a short walk for a big girl like me." There was another growl from her stomach. This did cause her to look down at it and even place her hand on it once more. "Calm down, I'll eat in a minute. I'm sure that the people living there will be more than happy to share some food with me."

With that, Diane began to walk towards the town that she could see not too far away from her. In her mind, rather than thinking of her situation or how abnormal her body was at that moment in time. Instead, she was imagining the food that she was going to eat once she arrived. This included her favourite, whole roast pig on a stick. Even though a very good friend of hers was a pig, It didn't stop her from enjoying such a meal.

One thing that she hadn't noticed was the simple fact that she didn't seem to be struggling at all to walk. Before, she had been like a new-born deer who was learning how to walk. Now, she seemed to be walking as if she had always been the way that she was at that moment in time.

Meanwhile, in the town of Hallford, many of the townspeople were simply going about their lives. The town was one that not too many people who weren't local would have heard of as there was nothing outstanding about it. This town had been a simple farming community that had been there for hundreds of years. It was a town that wasn't too prosperous but neither was it struggling.

Instead, the people who lived there tended to live quiet lives and nothing of any real interest ever took place there. The most interesting thing to take place within Hallford was that there had been a criminal who was trying to lay low. They had been apprehended by a bounty hunter after some time and this had taken place years before. Since then, everything had gone smoothly for them.

That was until the townspeople began to feel a shudder run through the ground, then another, then another and then another. This was something that caught many of them by surprise since this part of Britannia didn't experience earthquakes at all. If an earthquake did strike, they were normally so small that it was hard to even tell that they had occurred. None of them had ever been like this.

The ground would shake with regular intervals and to many people, there was something very odd about it. To them, it almost seemed as if what they were experiencing was the shudder of footsteps. But to them, this almost seemed to be impossible. As far as they were concerned, there was nothing in Britannia large enough to cause such a thing.

There had been the demons who had caused so much trouble for the kingdom. But they had all been vanquished by the Seven Deadly Sins and the Holy Knights. Some did consider that it could be a giant, but since none grew much larger than forty feet, they thought that one couldn't cause such a phenomenon.

That was until some of the townspeople at the edge of Hallford saw something that was both abnormal and terrifying to her. Approaching the town was a giant unlike any that they had even seen before. One who was both larger and longer than they had thought possible and from what they could see, the giantess known as Diane was walking directly towards the town itself.
