Description
HML Rimava is the biggest serially-produced battleship in the SSR. With only few dozen units made, this ship is to SSR as the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers are to the US NAVY.
WIth 1,5 km length, the ship acts as mainly a battleship, with great capabilities of making drops (utilizing smaller ships which dock either on designated places on the hull or inside the ship) to planet's surface. Its bay and lateral catapult systems hold place for many fighters and transports.
The main armament consists of 16 turrets, each housing a powerful 1500mm high-speed particle gun and a drone launcher. The front compartment contains 35 tubes for huge thermonuclear long-range missiles.
The secondary armament consists of the middle compartment consists of the catapults for aircraft and two huge medium-range missile bays. Complement to that the ship has 120 smaller medium-range medium-ship-destroying laser turrets.
Tertiary armament for close range combat consists of numerous Drone launcher turrets, missile turrets, medium-caliber particle cannon turrets and point-defense 2-30mm cannon turrets.
The ship has also numerous capabilities in electronic combat in both disabling incoming threats and dealing with enemy networks and ships.
Classic defense is ensured by MPDAS-2 adaptive plating with reactive armor plates above and active-hard-kill-defense systems Marta scattered all over the ship. The inner close-range perimeter is secured by a particle shield.
Main propulsion consists of several magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters, useful for forward-backward movement and many smaller thrusters for steering the entire ship. The FTL drive consists of Class III wormhole generator, capable of making 18-LY jumps in one discharge.
Sensors are decentralised all over the ship - the computer system gathers data from all turret sensors and computes the ideal firing solution for the guns and missiles. Two sensor masts on top and bottom of the ship provide additional long-range recon and comm.
Finally, the ship is driven by a standard issue fusion reactor located in the back of the ship.

P.S.: Did you notice the ship has no decisive top or bottom?

vyzerá to dosť zaujímavo. na demonštráciu veľkosti tohto korábu by si mohol zvoliť aj nejaký iný pohľad s prudšou perspektívou
