My Bio
I am a traditional artist, typically working with my trusty mechanical pencil, pen, charcoal, conte, watercolors, and sometimes acrylics. I do, on occasion, create digital paintings. While I have taken a few art classes, I am not an art major; I am merely a nursing student with a passion for art and poetry.

I write poetry, songs, & short stories. Not all are good, but writing is simply one of the best ways to express what I'm feeling. Most of the poems I have on here are from when I was in highschool; since starting college, I haven't been able to write as I once did.

I play the electric guitar; I own a red Fender Stratocaster, & a custom black ESP LTD FB 200 baritone guitar. I typically do covers of songs from my favorite hard-rock and metal bands, but occasionally write my own songs, with or without lyrics.

So... it's been a while since I've really posted any artwork save for the pieces of art that I photographed simply because they were being given away. However, just because I have not been posting artwork lately does not mean I have not been creating more and improving as an artist. Most of my artwork until now has been created without ever having received any artistic education whatsoever. Within the past year, this has changed, as I took a life-drawing class and a watercoloring class. As a result, I have literally hundreds of pages of new artwork that I am going to need to photograph for your lovely eyes to take a look at. Hang on tight, I'

My psychiatrist is asking of me to create a sketch of a man he admires. He gave me a picture of the man he wants me to draw, and asked me to create a silhouette of the picture. Once I do this, he will hang it up in his office. This will be extremely easy. The only problem is that I am indecisive as to how I want to go about creating this silhouette...should I just look at my reference picture of the man, and sketch his silhouette, or should I sketch out the silhouette on black paper, and then cut it out and glue it to white paper for contrast? Hm.

How do you describe your feelings for someone?   How do you describe your emotions when you're with that someone? How do you describe the overwhelmingly painful tightness of your chest when you want--no, when you NEED--that someone?   Most importantly...how do you describe how you LOVE that someone? I am utterly wordless.   Speechless.   Dumbstruck.   Silent. It is impossible for me to try to put into words the answers to ANY of the questions I just asked.  I simply want that someone to know the answers to those questions through a simple poem. But the words don't come.   They never do. They somehow elude me, and I can feel the sa
