The Brickhouse Bar: Bringing people together by A-Fox-Of-Fiction The Brickhouse Bar: Bringing people together by A-Fox-Of-Fiction
Ahhh...here is something I wanted for a very long time...a commission I got from :iconshonuff44: himself, bought with the help of my best friend :iconitalianschizoidboy: who contributed to the funds that helped me buy this one :) which I thank him very much for, and here we have a meeting between ShoNuff's Squeek and my character Chieko Masaki concerning Chieko's friend Rod...
Also, wanna guess what Squeek's referring to?...
And also...my apologies for a couple of spelling errors in the dialogue ^^;

As many different things that other worlds can bring, sometimes there's stuff that's always the same too...well kinda same anyways.

Rod, Chieko and her boyfriend Alejandro had came to another universe (which was kinda anime esque and populated with a lot of anthros, in addition to having some conspicuously fairy tale like stuff in parts, as the owners of the Brickhouse Bar indicated) after Chieko herself had found out about a criminal from her world that may or may not have hid a sizable amount of stolen gold in the general area of a town on this world and took note of the large finders fee for the bullion, so she convinced Rod and Alejandro to head over there to collect the reward.

Traveling to this world, they headed straight to the town where the gold was believed to have been hidden straightaway, but had little idea where to start looking, Chieko soon came to the conclusion that a local bar called the Brickhouse may hold some information due to it's own popularity in the area.

The three split up in the bar and tried to figure out who to ask about what, but when Chieko went to the bar to get a drink and see if the bartenders heard anything, she was surprised to meet a little mouse girl who was clearly a high school student (not like the outfit wasn't a dead giveaway) and should have been too young to be in there. Chieko commented on this and the girl (named Squeek) explained that she actually lived above the bar with her friend and bodyguard, a tough 'ol wolf named Shred Wolf.

After some talking, it became clear that Squeek and Shred kinda reminded Chieko of her and Rod, albeit with some noticeable changes, such as Squeek not being his partner in a rather dangerous business, but being more like a ward to the guy. Shred also seemed to be smarter than Rod was, though which one was stronger she had no idea.

Anyways, they ended up getting into a conversation on their tough friends and soon enough, the tendency both guys had to sleep around came up, and after Chieko offhandedly mentioned certain problems Rod's desire to get laid has caused (paternity suits) Squeek asks a question concerning a solution and Chieko gives her an answer before she has to explain to Squeek what she meant by "Full time job nobody wants."

Hehheh, no there isn't...I'll think of something. Incidentally, have you ever thought of getting some comic strips featuring Blackie? I know an artist who can make pretty good ones and also needs money.

I'm still content to do it myself or engage in art trades.

I know man...I just brought it up because the guy in question also needs money.

Also, would you mind if I bought any stuff from him starring your characters?

As long as it's not porn that's fine.

Well it might be close but ultimately won't be any more risqué than the last comic I bought from him
