Hey…I haven’t posted one of these for years.

I dunno how many people actually paid attention to my journals in the past, but still, I figure I might as well make this status update.

Anyway, I haven't been posting much of anything up here for a while. Partially because I haven't been commissioning much art due to a lack of funds....and also, the fact most the stuff I comm isn't stuff I can use on this site.

The whole 'ai art' thing is another factor, and I'm very pissed off that DA refuses to bar your art from being used FOR it unless you're a Core member.

It doesn't help that I'm unemployed too, and currently hoping to find a new job. Either way, I need a way of bringing in more cash, so I can develop my projects.

So I need to work on getting a job, before I can start buying too many commissions. I have some stored up though.

While Death Valet is still on hiatus, and likely will be for a while, I’m currently working up a new series: Shades of Green, focusing on the adventures of Rod Garth and Chieko Masaki, with all the action and sex that entails.

I recently finished the script for the first episode, while I do not yet know where I’m getting the funding to have it made, I like how it turned out and am looking forward to having it drawn.

In addition to Shades of Green, I’m planning to develop some other stories too.

One is Not Yet, focusing on Kira Fukui, magically gifted kitsune and Rod’s stepdaughter, and her adventurous friends. This would be a webcomic.

The others are novels I hope to start writing. They’re set in Death Valet’s past, there’s Baker’s Dozen which’d focus on a group of supercriminals enlisted to take down a Nazi fortress in 1942, Oh Bother which is about Winnie the Pooh visiting 1920s Chicago, and some other 1920s set stories are in development.

As for Death Valet, I plan to return to it later. After I come up with an improved script and story plan.

On top of this, I’ve been dealing with insecurity over the last few months, but finally writing the script for Shades of Green Episode 1, has helped me quite well with this. Also, realizing some important things about my life, has led me to seek self improvement, something I shall pursue along the job-hunt and story-writing.

Since Death Valet is going to be on hiatus a bit longer, and Shades of Green coming sooner, I’m going to be modifying my Patreon accordingly to reflect this. Not yet though, I need some new art, and figure out how to rewrite some of the descriptions.

That being said, I need money to help develop my series. And I’m not quite sure how to get the funding I need, I’m hoping to get better at crowdfunding (among other things). So if you’re open to donating to my Patreon, I’d appreciate it, every little bit helps.

Anyway, I hope you guys have a nice day. I’ve got plenty of work ahead of me. Peace out :)

Here's to 27 years of living, dreaming and creating...and to even more years of storytelling.

And hopefully my second wind comes this 2021!

Where I am, 2020 is about to end, and so with this crazy (and surprisingly Pillar-Man-free) year behind us, I shall say hello to 2021. On account of multiple factors, I was unable to get my main goals for 2020 achieved...but I made a good shot. Hopefully, in 2021, I can get the cash to make more regular Death Valet uploads, along with some...bonus comics. Be seeing you :)

Sorry about the delays, but good and bad news, I have an announcement.
After experiencing this highly annoying series of delays, I am going to be putting Death Valet on hiatus for a little while so I can build a backlog  in the name of consistent updates. I'm unsure just when the hiatus is over, it might be June 23rd, June 30th, or July 7th.
I'll be keeping updates on Tapas and Webtoons, but that's because they aren't as 'up to date' as other sites.
In April or May however, I might be releasing Death Valet pages ahead of time up on Patreon, it may take that long due to financial difficulties in buying pages. Which I will be giving an overhaul soon as well.
If I could receive any financial help in building that backlog, whether its through donations, commissions, or patreon subscriptions (but if the last one, contact me before you do, I'm gonna be modifying my patreon tiers soon).
I'm also involved in some projects that could help me procure more funding for Death Valet, more on that later.
Hope you guys aren't disappointed by this news :) hope you have a good day and stay safe out there.

There may be a slight delay for today's page, and it will likely appear tomorrow.
