Comm: Gorbakenstien by A-Fistful-Of-Kittens Comm: Gorbakenstien by A-Fistful-Of-Kittens
long time follower Jblask asked me to do their character Gorbakenstien.
Truly my first hand at any kind of furry. I had a lot of free play playing off what was already designed. Definitively a challenge for me but fun none the less.
I honestly had no idea what I was doing with the darkness. I hope it doesn't show....

if you have some free time check out his art page, hes always looking for critiques and feedback

I knew Gorby was just the character for you! You nailed him perfectly in your style!

I think you really did pretty good for a first time working with anthros I really think you pulled him off really well. He definitely looks like a tiger. And I really like how you envisioned his powers looking like. Definitely really creepy and threatening. The fact that it looks like blood makes it even creepier! His pose is really intense and I like it enough that I think I'll definitely adopt it perhaps when I show him in the comic!

Also excellent background choice. definitely a fitting background looking very good with the darkness and the foggy graveyard! I can only imagine what devious plot he's enacting on that poor church!

Overall I love everything here and I'm quite pleased! I also notice Gorby looks really clean and not dirty or bloody. How polite of him to clean up before attacking! XD I hope you enjoyed working with this guy!

it was fun and a pleasure working on it, I really thought releasing the arm was a cool idea. something like letting hi powers go wild, even if I wasn't sure what exactly his powers were :)

yea for the background I tried to think of themes that you usually drew in your picture and try to reflect them here. the fog was literally a last minute at as I was posting. had to make the change before going up

I will gladly do another whenever your like, thank you for the challange

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed working on him! Your style definitely suits him perfectly. And I'm really glad that you got adventurous with his arm and his powers because it looks really amazing and I definitely have a scene in mind where we do see his powers go wild!

(if you're curious his power is "umbramancy" which is basically the creation and manipulation of darkness itself)

You certainly captured the themes of my work pretty well.:D and the fog was a fantastic touch! one I don't really get to add because transparency effect of fog is difficult to portray with traditional mediums.

yes! I would gladly pick you again! There's just a long line of other friends I want to commission too because I've been telling them all "no i"m broke" for too long. XD

The pose and red energy are a little too hectic, but still dynamic. Nicely done.
