Hidden Fractalist Interview - lindelokse by LukasFractalizator, journal
Hidden Fractalist Interview - lindelokse
Hello to everyone reading this journal! Before we move on to the interview itself, some of you may ask yourselves questions such as, ‘What is fractal art?’ or ‘Who are ‘fractalists’?’ Let me provide you with a very brief introduction.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, fractal is a curve or geometrical figure in which each part shares the same statistical characteristics as the whole. These structures can be found throughout nature, including in plants, minerals, and even in different states of matter such as gas (smoke), liquid (waves), or solid (snowflakes). In simpler terms, Fractal Art refers to fractals presented as an art form, created using fractal-generating software. Term "Fractalist" consists simply of the two words - fractal, and artist.
If you would like to know a little bit more, I recommend these brief, yet informative journals by C-91 and tatasz, as well as the following collection of Fractal Art across DeviantArt:

Fan Art Friday: Scooby Doo by Pascua-Tanya, journal
Fan Art Friday: Scooby Doo
Welcome to another Fan Art Friday! Today we're celebrating the most beloved Great Dane in animated television, Scooby-Doo. This year marks 15 years since the premiere of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated (April 5, 2010), and 56 years since the franchise began in the late 1960s .
Scooby-Doo was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, animators who co-founded Hanna-Barbera Productions, the animation studio responsible for creating highly popular cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and, of course, Scooby-Doo. The first series (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!) premiered on September 13, 1969, on CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System). It was the result of plans by CBS and Hanna-Barbera to create a non-violent Saturday morning show that would appease the parent watch groups that had protested the superhero-based programs of the mid-1960s.
The plot follows Scooby-Doo (a Great Dane) and four teenagers, Fred Jones, Daphne Blake

Join DeviantArt's Ambassador program!
DeviantArt is proud to announce a new opportunity for deviants to contribute to the community at a deeper level! The Ambassador program is designed to give deviants a chance to bring artists together, offer ways for artists to hone their skills or try new things, and help shape the future of the community.
Deviants eligible to participate in the Ambassador program are those who are co-founders or top contributors of official DeviantArt groups or affiliated groups. There are many factors that determine whether or not deviants might be a good fit for the Ambassador program, but all potential ambassadors should:
Frequently run or organize community events
Routinely be active participants in their community
Consistently encourage and cheer on other artists
Ambassadors will have direct contact with and support from DeviantArt team members when hosting events and challenges, to help their projects thrive.

The Compliment Comment Contest by BeckyKidus, journal
The Compliment Comment Contest
Edit: The contest is now over and the winners drawn. If still you want to tag and compliment people, you're free to do so, but there will be no chance of winning further prizes.
Two years have passed since the last one, and it is high time to spread compliments again - this time, with an event larger than ever!
The Rules
The rules are simple. To enter, you have to tag people and say something nice to them.
Those people can be friends, art idols, stock providers, people who improve the community in one way or another... Anything like that.
For every person you tag, you get one raffle ticket.
There is a limit of 5 tickets per participant, to prevent spamming. However, you can still tag as many people as you want - you just won't get those extra tickets.
Remember: to tag people, you need to either add an @ in front of their name or add their avatar via the "add emote or avatar" button at the bottom of your "comment box". The old :devUsername: and :iconUsername: do not work.

Fan Art Friday: Minecraft
Whether you're a seasoned builder, a redstone wizard, or someone who just really loves punching trees, Minecraft has a little something for everyone. With the recent buzz around the upcoming movie, it felt like the perfect time to dig deep (pun absolutely intended) into the fan art mines and showcase the incredible range of styles, mediums, and interpretations that this iconic game has inspired.
From cube-shaped creepers and cozy pixelated cabins to cinematic reimaginings of Steve, Alex, and mobs in motion—this fandom continues to evolve in the most creative ways. It's not just a game. It's a world-builder, a sandbox for the imagination, and a cultural touchstone that keeps growing... one block at a time.
Here are a few gems that capture the spirit of the Overworld and beyond.
