Fanart Friday: Wolf's Rain by KovoWolf, journal
Fanart Friday: Wolf's Rain
Welcome to this Fan Art Friday feature! I'll be featuring none other than the magnificent series Wolf's Rain!
"Wolf's Rain" is an anime series that blends elements of fantasy, adventure, and post-apocalyptic themes. Set in a world where humanity believes wolves to be extinct, it follows the journey of a group of wolves who can take on human form in their quest to find Paradise, a legendary utopia said to be the only place where wolves can find peace.
The story begins with Kiba, a lone white wolf, searching for Paradise. He encounters other wolves along the way: Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own motivations and backgrounds. Together, they face various challenges and obstacles, including human hunters and the harsh realities of their world.
As they travel, they are joined by humans who become intertwined in their quest, including Cheza, a mysterious girl with the ability to communicate with plants and believed to be the key to finding Paradise.

A Seller's Guide to DeviantArt Exclusives by team, journal
A Seller's Guide to DeviantArt Exclusives
Exclusives are the perfect way to earn from your unique creations on DeviantArt!
If you’re unfamiliar, Exclusives are one-of-a-kind artworks that artists can sell and buyers can own. Many DeviantArt creators sell adoptables (character designs, outfits, or accessories) as Exclusives, but you can also sell digital art, 3D art, photography, traditional art, and more!
Exclusives can have one unique owner. Artists can allow the owner to resell the Exclusive later if desired, and if resales are allowed, the artist will earn royalties on resale.
Why artists love selling Exclusives on DeviantArt
Exclusives is a secure, automated system, which means you’ll save time without having to communicate with potential buyers.
You’re guaranteed payment the moment your Exclusive sells.
If you allow Exclusive owners to resell, you’ll earn a 10% royalty each time one of your Exclusives is resold.
You receive free promotion as your Exclusives are highlighted on your deviations, profile, and in
How to draw Minty The Garden Dragon! by The-SixthLeafClover, journal
How to draw Minty The Garden Dragon!
The theme for this month is Garden Dragons! 🌱
For this tutorial I will be featuring Minty The Mint Dragon as one of my favorite Garden Dragons to draw!
Follow the steps and create your own artwork! Post your drawing on DeviantArt with the tag #GardenDragonTutorial and get a Profile badge!
I mainly sketch my work in Painter SAI2. A lot of my color work is done in Corel Painter using the "Mona Lisa" brush.
:bulletgreen: What is a Garden Dragon?
A garden dragon is a plant-like dragon that lives in a garden pot. I originally called them "Bonsai Dragons." I have evolved them since the first creation of Bonsai Dragon and have made several different variations of them like Minty Dragon.
:bulletgreen: Why this art style?
I love to read and make comics of my own and have developed this cute art style to fit my very own comic that I run called Lucky Dragon and Friends. I post this comic regularly here on DeviantArt as well as on WebToon. Some of the recent episodes of my comic

@ZeroZeroSenpai
Hello, hello! It's me, Zero! I’m a jack-of-all-trades artist, and one of my trades is making adoptable designs. I really enjoy character creation, as well as experimenting with my style and art process, and I find adoptable designs a fun way to express all of those things. You’ll see a lot of variation in what I have to offer, because I’m always trying something new and interesting!

When Art Meets Code: The Piet Programming Language by inazar, journal
When Art Meets Code: The Piet Programming Language
Today's guest feature comes from DeviantArt's engineering department.
When people talk about the history of abstract art, the name of Piet Mondrian is sure to come up. It was Mondrian who, in 1922, was the first to throw out all pretence of realism in the search for deeper connection to the innate nature of things.
Composition with Blue, Yellow, Red, Black and Grey (1922)
Piet Mondrian, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, via BBC [1]
Mondrian trained in traditional landscapes, and continued to paint still life flowers even while producing abstract art in the 1920's [2] but as the curator of a Swiss collection of his works told the BBC:
Minimalism is unthinkable without Mondrian; he was one of the first who really did this, this totally non-representational work… If you see modern as something which breaks with all traditions and defines everything new, then Mondrian's paintings of the 20s are very, very modern.
The abstract works of Mondrian focus heavily on horizontal and vertical lines

Struggling for Aspiration
Show me some compassion,
a little bit of hope...
a little less hatred,
before I tie the rope.
Give me better reasons
than what I've been given.
Theatrical kindness;
my heart is left riven.
Depressive waves roll in
while I wallow, doleful.
My song is heavenward
sung in mournful modal.
When I have given up,
without the strength to stand,
suddenly there's pressure
your hand within my hand.
