DeviantArt is proud to announce a new opportunity for deviants to contribute to the community at a deeper level! The Ambassador program is designed to give deviants a chance to bring artists together, offer ways for artists to hone their skills or try new things, and help shape the future of the community.  Deviants eligible to participate in the Ambassador program are those who are co-founders or top contributors of official DeviantArt groups or affiliated groups. There are many factors that determine whether or not deviants might be a good fit for the Ambassador program, but all potential ambassadors should: Frequently run or organize community events Routinely be active participants in their community Consistently encourage and cheer on other artists Ambassadors will have direct contact with and support from DeviantArt team members when hosting events and challenges, to help their projects thrive.   Are you ready to be a community ambassador? Hi everyone! 👋 @vagrantscout from the @Community team here. Back on September 18th, I visited Anthro SoCal 2026 to check out the scene and it was epic! 🐾 From hanging with DeviantArt members to meeting amazing new artists, I was completely immersed in the Anthro / Furry universe all afternoon. Here’s a look back at all the fun that was had at this year’s con! [DEVIATION] [DEVIATION] [DEVIATION] The star of the show 🌟 DeviantArt senior member @The-SixthLeafClover was nice enough to let me hang out at her booth to meet some deviants and hand out some swag. She was a total rock star at the convention with the largest booth in the Dealer’s Den and a constant stream of people visiting. She even got to design the official tank top for the convention, so cool! 😎 The Fursuits were FIERCE! 🐺 I’m always amazed by the artistry that goes into fursuit design, but this year’s offerings were just stunning. New innovations in cooling, mask automations, tech integrations, and just so many different

Patter-patter-patter. I find the sound of the rain against the umbrella really satisfying. Sometimes, I'll hum to the rhytm, but most of the times, I just enjoy the ambience. The days grow shorter now, colder. I need a jacket for the evening walks, something with deep pockets to hold the chestnuts I find irresistible to pick up. Halloween is almost upon us, and it makes me think how many people think about October through the lens of it. For me, it's that, of course - Halloween is my favourite holiday - but there's more. I like sitting in the local cemetery and thinking about how life passes. There is stillness there that doesn't demand anything from me. I think about all these petty little squabbles, tiny things people get upset over - but the headstones provide a necessary perspective. In ten, fifteen, twenty years, will these frictions matter? Will I even remember what the argument was about? As I grew older, I definitely started to handle bad days better; I simply ask myself

These outstanding deviants have been recognized for their level of interaction, helpfulness with others, kindness, sincerity, and many other notable traits. These deviants can be recognized by the medal icon that appears next to their username. Fun fact: In 26 years, fewer than 2,000 deviants have received Seniority.
