Fractal Friday Feature #FFF011
Ever wondered what happens when math meets art?...
Welcome to my project series called Fractal Friday Feature! Once in a while, I venture into the fascinating world of fractals, showcasing the incredible talent and technicality of artists from within the community. Join us as we celebrate their latest inspiring works, foster connection within the fractal community, and perhaps even inspire you to explore the boundless possibilities of this unique art form. Let the feature begin!
That's it for this Fractal Friday Feature! Huge thanks to the artists for sharing those inspiring pieces with us, and I hope you enjoyed the showcase. Keep on fractalling!

The Draw It Again Improvement Contest by BeckyKidus, journal
The Draw It Again Improvement Contest
As DeviantArt celebrates its 25th birthday, we’re looking back — not just at how far we’ve come as a community, but how far you’ve come as an artist Whether you've been here a few months or a few years, growth can sneak up on you — and this is your chance to see just how much you’ve improved!
We’re challenging you to pick a piece of art you made less than a year ago (June 2024 or later), and draw it again to show off your progress The one-year window helps level the playing field, gives newer artists a fair shot, and highlights how much you have improved within the last year alone
Let’s turn your recent artistic journey into a mini yearbook moment — one that reflects your creativity, effort, and evolution.
So for this contest, you need to redraw an artwork you have made within the last year, and turn it into a "Draw it Again" meme.
It should look something like this:
Rules:
The entry has to be in the before/after meme format. Some templates to get you started: 1 2

Join DeviantArt's Ambassador program!
DeviantArt is proud to announce a new opportunity for deviants to contribute to the community at a deeper level! The Ambassador program is designed to give deviants a chance to bring artists together, offer ways for artists to hone their skills or try new things, and help shape the future of the community.
Deviants eligible to participate in the Ambassador program are those who are co-founders or top contributors of official DeviantArt groups or affiliated groups. There are many factors that determine whether or not deviants might be a good fit for the Ambassador program, but all potential ambassadors should:
Frequently run or organize community events
Routinely be active participants in their community
Consistently encourage and cheer on other artists
Ambassadors will have direct contact with and support from DeviantArt team members when hosting events and challenges, to help their projects thrive.

Celebrating Deviousness - June 2025
The Deviousness Award is given to one deviant each month in recognition of their exemplary contributions to DeviantArt and its community, and has been a long-standing tradition since DeviantArt’s early years. @Caffinated-Pinecone is the recipient of June 2025’s Deviousness Award, so please join us in congratulating them!
From the sun-dappled forests of Northern California to the winding banks of Lake Michigan, @Caffinated-Pinecone’s creativity grows wild and free — rooted in nature, nurtured by story, and deeply entwined with community.
Her gallery feels like stumbling upon a secret glade: filled with earthy watercolors, imaginative creatures, original comics, and a world that’s both ancient and deeply personal. Whether conjuring whimsical griffins from scraps or painting quiet scenes that hum with life, her art invites you to linger and feel something real.
However, their presence stretches far beyond the canvas. Over more than a decade on DeviantArt, @Caffinated-Pinecone has

Celebrate Pride 2025: The Fabric Of Freedom
2025 commemorates the 50th anniversary of Washington, D.C.’s iconic Pride celebrations, but the essence of pride is woven into the tapestry of history. This year's theme is the Fabric of Freedom, signifying how, while no single thread or pattern defines the community, bringing them together celebrates uniqueness while embodying strength, creative expression, and freedom.
Celebrate With Color
We commissioned @Estheryu to create line art for you to color and celebrate the Fabric of Freedom in whatever hues your heart desires. Submit your finished work of art to your gallery or display your coloring page as a cover image on your profile!
"The design theme of the art revolves around the structure of freedom (wings), the Fabric of Freedom, and most importantly Love yourself."
- @Estheryu
Sew a Badge onto the Fabric of Freedom
For the month of Pride, when you see deviations or comments that are inclusive, supportive, or celebrate strength, award them with the Fabric of Freedom
