Star-Dad A star-dad, that is what I am, for I have lost my child, I have. To the grave I had to carry it, lost my heart, my love, my life through you. Often I grieve in silence, on my own, for alone with my worries I remain. My sorrow and my pain, I swallow deep inside. I won't be heard anyway, so why should I be open? Often I feel lonely and abandoned. Doesn't matter anyway, if I stay still. No one listens, I'm alone either way. Alone with the worries, the grief, and the pain. A star-dad, that is what I am, for I have lost my child, I have. To the grave I had to carry it, lost my heart, my soul, my future through you. Often I grieve in silence, on my own, for alone with my worries I remain. Doesn't matter anyway, if I stay still. Just the dad of this child who's gone. Often I feel lonely and abandoned, for I stand here alone as star-dad. How the mom is doing, that's all people ask. Forgotten, that's what I am as star-dad. But haven't I also lost my beloved child? People don't
