Nessarose governs the muchkins very harshly because of guilt and shame she feels over elphaba

Bok nessarose's lover fears her growing ruthlessness and wants to leave but nessarose sings a warrent preventing munchkins from leaving.

Glinda and fiero are engaged but also sad over elphaba being a wanted criminal and fear she will eventually be killed.

Elphaba visits nessarose and their reunion goes poorly as bok enters the office and attempts to confront nessarose about her cruelty,bok says he hates her and nessarose shots him with a pistol,bok is dying and elphaba uses the gremory to turn him to the tin man.

Elphaba surprises glinda for her wedding and the two reminicense.

Elphaba finds the animals including her proffessor dillamond the goat who cant speak,enraged elphaba attempts to kill the wizard but glinda stops her begging elphaba not to commit murder,elphaba angry asks how glinda can protect the wizard glinda respondes he gave her eveything she wanted.

Madam morrible arrives and she and elphaba have a magical battle involving energy barrages and even using statues.

Although morrible has expirience she is completly outmatched by elphaba who has trained and learned from the gremory elphaba overpowers morrible but leaves after the wizard escapes.

Fiero goes with elphaba and its revealed the two have an affair and fiero gave her a castle belonging to his uncle in the west.

Furious over her weakness morrible summons a tornado to oz in an attempt to kill elphaba.

The tornado however arrives at munchkinland and kills nessarose by dropping a house on her.

Elphaba arrives to see her sister and finds glinda has given a kensas girl her sister's slippers.

Elphaba breaks down in tears over her sister and glinda comforts her and says she knows fiero loves her and their marriage was political.

Elphaba is shot through her leg as soldiers arrive fiero rescues her but is beaten
