All Alone...

     Kaitlyn woke up with a jolt. After surveying the room, Kaitlyn realised she was safe at home. Kaitlyn put her glasses on and picked up her phone.  She stared at its dark blue case. It glittered like a billion stars in the night sky. She smiled. Kaitlyn looked at her notifications. At the top of the list, there was a mysterious text from a number that wasn't in her contacts.
    The text read as follows: "Dear Kaitlyn: I've been away from you for 6 long months. I need to hang out with you 😜" Kaitlyn knew who it was from. It was from a psycho wolf named Carl. 6  months before, Kaitlyn fell in love with Carl. She was tricked into thinking he was nice. But Carl abused Kaitlyn, and fooled her into thinking she deserved it. One day, Carl invited Kaitlyn to his house to "hang out". But Carl ended up raping her. Kaitlyn knew what "hanging out" meant. And it was bad.
    Kaitlyn texted her friend, Raven. She and Raven were friends since kindergarten. Kaitlyn told Raven: "HELP!! CARL TEXTED ME! HE WANTS TO HANG OUT!! WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" Raven quickly texted back: "It's ok. I'm coming over right now. If he wants to hurt you again, he'll have to hurt me first! ❤💙🤜" Kaitlyn felt comfort in her friend's text. Raven lived right across the street from Kaitlyn, so Raven would be there soon.
    About 2 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. To Kaitlyn's relief, it was just Raven. Kaitlyn gazed into Raven's bright blue eyes, then let the black-furred German Shepherd in. Kaitlyn just noticed she was wearing her pajamas, so all of the scars on her arms were visible. "Sorry, you don't wanna see my ugly scars, do you? Heh... I'll go get dressed." Kaitlyn said to Raven. Kaitlyn disappeared into her room.
    Raven sat on the couch. "Damn. Kaitlyn is SO CUTE! I wish she could be mine... But what are the chances of HER, the perfect angel, liking ME, the fucking garbage?" Raven said quietly to herself.
    Kaitlyn finished getting dressed and walked out to the living room. She was wearing what she usually wore: Her navy blue sweater and some black jeans. "I'm hungry." said Kaitlyn. She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar. She ate it and threw the wrapper away.
    All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door. The two exchanged glances, knowing who it was. Raven opened the door and attacked Carl. "PEDOPHILE! RAPIST! YOU DESERVE THIS!" shouted Raven. She knocked Carl out and called the cops. After the police left, Kaitlyn and Raven went inside. Their conversation went:  "Um, Kaitlyn?" "Yeah, Raven?" "Uh, I've known you for a while and... um... I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT I THINK YOU'RE AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU AND WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?!" "I love you too, Raven. And yes, I will be your girlfriend."
