Today I need to say goodbye to you, my tree friend. Given to me years ago from the bottom of someone's heart, I was the one to take care of you. And I truly did. I've taken you with me basically everywhere I went because I figured this the best way to make sure you were taken care of. I've even carried you through the streets of Paris. You have seen the Eiffel Tower, but you haven't seen this spring's first sunshine. This summer you can not contribute to the wonder of nature anymore.
I am sorry, tree.
I'm not just gonna throw you away. I want to give something of your life away. So I will put your dry branches into fresh earth when it's time to plant another tree. So this autumn you're going to be the first breath of a new mystery. And you are finally going to see the circle you are.
I also want to share this thought with all of you people. Nature is the perfect equilibrium. Giving and receiving. We can all be trees. We can all be circles.
I am not sad any more.
