In the last page he take his helmet and he was... Charles Xavier. I think I've fainted.

Easily done :)

His name was Access, and his power was the ability to move himself and others between the DC and the Marvel Universes.  Basically, he was a walking plot device.

Interestingly, though, he's the only character to be jointly owned by Marvel and DC.  I always thought it would be cool if he were to show up in a regular book from either publisher.  As far as I know that never happened, though.
