I love it. It came with my PC, and now it's one of my favorites. It's the one I use for the MSN Messenger.

My laptop lets me use Fixedsys as a normal font, and it's not downloaded or a handmade version o.O

If you're on a PC, then yeah, it's a default font. Some machines/software pretend it doesn't exist, though. You must not be in one of those situations. :)

There's another outline version of Fixedsys called Fixedsys Excelsior, which includes much wider Unicode coverage. Development on it froze 3 years ago, but it seems to be back as of March 5th.

Ah, neat. The only other Fixedsys clone I was aware of was FixedsysTTF, which is what I was aiming to improve upon. I haven't attempted to be comprehensive Unicode-wise... the character set is intended to be more true to the original than expansive.

Thanks for posting that link, though. For some purposes, it would be more useful than what I have here (although I'm not sure to what extent their version will break in Flash.)
