So I had a headcanon that when the esper Tritoch (Valigarmanda in the original) reacts to Terra at the beginning of the game it actually appears to her in astral projection form and for a brief moment she awakens to her true badass self. <3
And yeah that's her incinerating her own slave crown. Because she should have.
