Space Dandy

I understand there’s a lot of hate for Space Dandy already… I’m afraid I love it.

This is Dandy, the main character of a new anime by the creators of Cowboy Bebop. Dandy is an arrogant sleaze with no real likeable qualities, and I think he’s great!

I think one of the reasons I love the show is that it’s not a conventional anime, which is why I liked Cowboy Bebop also. It doesn’t take itself seriously – that’s what makes it fun.

Anyway, this guy was great to draw. Excuse to do some crazy perspective on a twisted pose and combine it all with some awesome space colours!
