Because I couldn't find one on dA, I conjured myself a Treasure Planet stamp.

Edit; June 17th 2008:
A sorely needed remake. the damn thing was getting too many favs, leaving it in its original crappy state was getting embarassing. and I'm actually proud of this... 35-frame monster...
hope you like the new, flashy version of the stamp for the most underrated amazing movie in Disney history.

It's weird, I love this movie. but I can't stand it's fanbase (mostly on the CRAZY fangirls). I kinda wish Disney did more sci-fi.

yeah it does kinda get many crazy fangirls :XD: then again, if a movie is not all too well-recieved by most people, the fans tend to get defensive.
ooooh disney sci-fi would be so much fun! or they could take the steampunk feel they had in this movie to a new level, that would make for stunning visuals too. :D

True, very true. I myself is a girl that is a fan of the movie buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I don't go out and make a love interest for one of the character. In fact, the characters the fan made oc for them to fall like Jim or Silver, I actually like them single instead of having a girlfriend for them. But that's just my opinion lol As you said this is well recieved by most people. My Illustration Prof is quite fond of this movie despite some flaws.

With movies like Atlantis and Treasure Planet, I thought they did quite well with both the sci-fi AND the steampunk especially the steampunk. I do hope they go back one day to these genre. I mean they already went back to fairly tales.

honestly this movie is too underrated. They should rerun it on TV and maybe it could get a little more of what it deserves

I mainly think it just was aimed at the wrong audience, namely boys of jim's age. but those boys are right in the period when disney movies are in no way cool or even watchable. so... of course it flopped, despite it's overall coolness... :(
