Sakamoto-san*

Well I was bored watching a dvd I ordered by mistake (because I am just that clever) so thought I would sew while watching.

I have been wanting to try some more of my favourite characters but I really can't make anything good without a pattern. However Sakamoto is a very straight forward design so thought I would try him. But even so I still stole the design from this:

So here you have it, my crude version of some sakamoto keychain plush from Japan!

So yeah, it came out ok and it actually looks like sakamoto (imo anyway) which is always nice!

Well that is about it, thanks for viewing =3.

Aww, adorable! ;w;
Hope you don't mind me asking, but do you think you might somehow be able to post a tutorial? I'd understand if it was a sort of thing where you kinda had to 'wing it' but if it's possible it would be nice, as I plan on learning to sew myself. Sorry for the trouble. ^^"

Late reply, but well this was actually rather simple.

I simple cut four pieces of felt, 2 in the shape of the body (well a little bigger as the edge will be sewn) and 2 for the head, just cut them the rough shape with a bit of extra room. Sew the edges, turn inside out, add a couple of round bits of black and white felt for the eyes, sew or glue them on, then stuff the body and head.

The scarf was just one whole piece of felt i place between the head and body and just carefully try and sew it all together around the scarf area, a bit fiddly but comes out ok ^^.

I am not much of a sewer this was just a wing it thing yes x3.

It is called Nichijou. It is a really funny anime, utterly random. you should be able to find it on most anime streaming sites. I use this site:

I just use felt. You should be able to get it fairly cheap from craft shops.
