Description
This is a picture of a young softshell turtle found near my parents' pond. Like their name suggests, they have soft shells unlike most other turtles. They also have unique features like a pointy snout that can wiggle, which is cool From head to tail it was about 3 inches long.
These pictures are the first I have taken with my new Canon 60mm EF-S macro lens. The lighting is a bit harsh (I had one bright lamp on it), but I thought the leaves I used worked well for color and a setting. If you have any macro tips, especially on lighting, let me know.
