The piece shown here is a WIP of my piece "An Ucomfortable Reality" AI art is hurtful, not just to me, not just to artists, but everyone. Let me explain. For artists such as myself, it's leading to a lot of harassment from both sides, anti-AI accusing me of using AI to create my work, and pro-AI telling me to kill myself and to stop being such a baby and get a "real" job. This is the most lukewarm of the problems but let me assure you, it gets a whole hell of a lot worse. Incase you didn't know, AI uses already existing images made by artists of all kinds. It stores these images to use and create new ones, of which companies like to sell for a profit, despite not doing anything. They are leeching off artists to create these quick cash grabs and most don't pay the artists of who's work they use. You can argue that human artists take inspiration from pre existing pieces to create new ones, and you'd be correct. The difference however is that unlike a AI algorithm, humans can add to
