We are not a contest promotion club! We do not feature or host other people's contests. We consider these submissions spam. The One Hour Contest is a specific, ongoing contest that this club hosts.

The Rules


:bulletred:For each round of the contest, you are given one hour to draw the character presented by the host. After a week of submissions, the host selects one winner, who becomes the next host.

:bulletred:You cannot win twice in a row. That is, you cannot win your winner's contest. Anything else is fair game.

:bulletred:This is an honor based system so we won't know if you took seven hours or one, but please try to keep it near the one hour mark.

:bulletred:If you win, you can only request one original character! So you'll get a bunch of fan art when it comes to be your turn! The more people you tell about this, the more "prizes" you get once you win! (the prizes are entries, see?)

:bulletred: Please do not reuse original characters if you have hosted before. The idea of this contest is to draw something new every week.

:bulletred: We don't allow deadline extensions. The purpose of this structure is a quick turnaround. You can enter the next contest if you don't have time for the current one!

:bulletred: As a host, if you don't pick the winner of your contest within three days, one of the admins will take over for you.

:bulletred:If you've won, and the new contest isn't up within three days, same deal as above. That means the longest you'll have to wait for a new contest is only six days.

:bulletred: Please submit your entries to the Featured folder. Hosts, this is where you should be choosing your winners from, not from comments on the journal.
