Like Mercury, I'm not entirely happy with this, but it still turned out better than I thought it would after I gave up on the clouds partway.

I think the best way to describe Venus is "she ain't pretty she just looks that way." Beyond the pretty golden colour is a poisonous atmosphere 100 times thicker than Earth's and unrelenting 467º heat.

Don't forget the volcanoes, the acid rain, lightning, and the floor is actually lava, well, more of a super hot cookie dough consistency.

Nice eyes.

I'm trying to do the same with one of my art but i can't get rid of the white part still. I watch a youtube vid and did exactly what it said but still the white part.

My best guess is that you're working on a flattened canvas. If there's a layer named "background" in italics, double click it and it should become "Layer 0" or something. Then you can erase or get rid of it to expose transparency. You'll know you got it when Photoshop's checkered pattern shows up.

Her decadent body language and expression are an excellent touch-- calls back the quintessence of the roman pantheon.

Seductive!

Rather interested in seeing what Neptune would look like in this case...and Saturn. Some sort of crinoline hoop-skirt? Or maybe a 60s hippy, sitting on the ring like it was a playground swing? OH THE POSSIBILITIES

Reminds me of the cloud lady from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door :D

I like how you went for a completely different character from the fertile love goddess Venus would normally be. She's almost an anti-Gaia.

Also, the artwork is amazeballs. Creative use of clouds and transparency.

I think those clouds are the number 1 coolest thing I've seen done on dA in terms of visual effects. Dude, you're a genius xD

Not happy?! This is great 8D

I certainly can't wait to see the concepts you have in mind for the other girls :P

And hopefully Pluto is included :3 (screw the dang scientists who count it out)

I don't plan on including Pluto - I happen to agree with the IAU on its designation of dwarf planet - but I might do a group of it and some of the other dwarf planets like Ceres and Eris.

She's very pretty, I'm curious why you chose to make her black specifically. Was it the poisonous atmosphere?
