Basically we had two major things to do for our final project. We had to create an original character, in which the image portrays as much of their actual character as possible, and do a write-up describing their physical/psychological characteristics as well as providing a brief backstory. (I kinda omitted the whole "repeatedly sexually assaulted by a vampire," thing, 'cause, y'know, school, but...) So I tried to mash in as many of his fundamental character traits as possible. His love of old muscle cars, his musical side, the sense of comfort he finds in nature (backgrounds were allowed to be half-assed, so I quarter-assed mine), his dog tags in relation to the ever-looming threat of amnesia... aaaaand a black eye and bruised knuckles, because let's face it, most of the time when conflict arises outside of the house, he's more brawn than brains. XD;
... And I don't know how, but somehow the prof figured this was worth 100%. I just squawked a big ol', "Whaaaaaaat?" when he gave me my mark back - after which I had the entirety of my class staring at me - because I don't see it. I mean, the shading on the car by itself is just... eugh. But... Yay?
