Russian TR-7

Description

While joint American-Japanese-German industries were the first to produce the Axel, other nations quickly followed up one way or another by producing thier own. The Russians, beleived to have stolen the German KT-13 Armor Destroyer prototype, churned out a remarkably similar Axel machine known as the TR-7 or "Bear" as widly known elsewhere. At the time of it's release to the world, it was the heaviest AXEL ever produced- and became the standard for all heavy-class Axels to be judged.

The "Bear" is predominatly seen in russian and former Warsaw alliance nations, while an export version was developed for sale to other countries. Cupps Island managed to aquire three such machines, which had some different features and replaced the wheeled heels with iron ones for urban combat. On Cupps island, that Bear was referred to as the TR-7-CI, as it had some modifications of it's own outside the TR-7D (export) version.

Pictured here is a TR-7B from the Siberian Guard with winter cameoflauge. To reduce visibility there aren't that many markings applied.
