I've been doing so much pencil work that I was starting to get restless, so I thought I'd sketch out something in ink.
By "in ink" I mean that I drew a picture with a Bic pen and a Sharpie.
I love drawing the female figure, so I went through my favorites and found one of my favorite nude figure photos and printed it out and, well... drew it.
This is the photo I used: Inclination by darkmatterzone
The end result isn't really a great example of technically reproducing a photo, but that wasn't really my intention. All I did was sketch it out really loosely in pencil and then went at her with the pen, going pretty much just off of the pencil outline rather than using the photograph for reference.
It was one of those "drawing while watching House MD" sort of things. Nothing that I'd really put in my portfolio or anything.
