Fruitful Confusion: ch1-pg1

I finally colored a page! Tis read right to left, but on this page it doesn't matter too much.

Description: (Since this is the 1st page and there isn't a chapter cover yet, I feel obligated to write this)


There's a legend of a person with an unusual name from the isolated city of Rone. The legend was more or less regarded as just a story, but unrest and war in the country has caused sudden interest in the tale.

Enter the traveling fruit merchant, who happens to bear this unusual name: Keshi. After stumbling into the capital city and a strange twist of events occurs, it's not long before everyone knows his name. And they all want him.

A mute half-demon (Rezen) and a slightly odd half-rabbit (Zev) are the two causing the most quarrel over our poor fruit merchant friend. However, Keshi is not too bright. He believes they're fighting over him because he's such a good fruit seller and they're jealous.

Before anyone can set him straight on the situation, here comes a girl named Sachi who actually IS jealous of his fruit selling! Great-now he thinks he was right. Let the battling, escaping, friend-gaining, enemy-gaining, absolute no-sense tale begin!

Meanwhile, sitting in a temple in the middle of nowhere, sits a girl facing the door, awaiting to battle away the wicked and grant the wishes of the innocent. Seems she bears the same name as our fruit merchant.

Woops, it seems there was a slight mix-up somewhere...
