This is also the dragon I used in my animation of „Im Traum“!
Is there a term for feathered dragons? Like dragons don't always have to be spiky and scaly and ...horned. Don't you think?

Oh and I may proudly announce that at the end of the year (maybe even earlier) I'll upload another beaded dragon. A BADASS ONE.
No not Toothless.

A small versatile mech with 4 built in hard-points on it's shoulders and hips for various weapon/gear load-outs plus standard low-slung manipulators and sensor array to complete the package. Guns, legs, and arms are articulated. I think it looks a little like a Mechwarrior with arms. Gave it a little base, and it does fit a mini-fig.

This post is my first on here and is basically a test drive of this site - most of my builds are on flickr  www.flickr.com/photos/53458657… but I'm a little sick of the layout changes over there. I also know I have seen lots of interesting sci-fi related concept art on here which has inspired me in my building. With that in mind I thought I would give it a try. I am also aware that there is a lack of lego posts here, perhaps because it is considered a toy and not an art-form,...ah well, here goes nothing.

After his demonic energies flare up, his body grows and size and muscles swell. This is the result bringing him to the second stage of his demonic lycanthrope.

Finally got to work on this little guy, and I am very happy with how it ended up. The color scheme was suggested by :iconcrystal-rain-fox:, who purchased this creature, and I am thrilled with the results!

This is also a major step forward in my aptitude with acrylic paints - I had just purchased a Sta-Wet Handy Palette for myself as a birthday gift, which increases the effective use time of acrylics for hours, if not days, before they dry out completely. Using this palette in conjunction with an acrylic medium that increases the drying time of the paints allowed me to get some lovely gradients and has saved me a lot of paint. I didn't have to re-supply my palette with new paint at all, barring resupply due to running out of a given color, in all of the 7 hours it took me to get to the result you see in the photo. I love acrylics all the more now, now that I can use them in longer stints without worrying about dry times as much.

I'll be uploading other photos, so I will assure you that this is not all that you'll see of this creature!
