In the land of gods and monsters,
I was an angel
Living in the garden of evil.
Screwed up, scared, doing anything that I needed,
Shining like a fiery beacon.
You got that medicine I need
Fame, liquor, love, give it to me slowly.

We are having a workshop in our minor Arts&Nature. I try to co-orporate as much animation into this minor as I can but it's futile. Only thing I can focus on for a bit is a bit of character and set design but not as much as I should be doing. It wears me down.
But today in the workshop experiment I found some peace of mind and started doing these tests.
I'm actually quite fond of it, and never before did I use the technique of silkscreening. It's a lot of fun and the workplace master joyfully helped me about the workplace.

I created a little pond with fish and just some random leaf things

This is a single color silkscreen that I recently did. It's colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. This pic is before I colored the wings (see my "Silkscreen Prints" folder for the complete print). As always, I welcome any and all comments and/or critiques, so feel free to leave one! :D (Big Grin)

This is a silk screening I did in black ink then sprayed it with water while it was still drying. Looks really cool and I personally love the streaks of water coming down like it's running mascara.

One of my many experiment prints for my Print Media Assignment.

This was inspired by a prior print where I used white/yellow/pink & blank and reminded me on Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Madoka Magica for short). I am pretty sure it was based on the colours i used so afterwards I used colour that I felt would represent Sayaka, Mami & Kyoko.

This was the result of that experiment~
